Ace placed his hand on the nape of her neck and pulled her in for a kiss. He ground his dick into her hot sex as he assaulted her mouth. Daisy responded in kind, rolled her hips to create some friction between them. She could feel his long, hard length as she moved. She felt herself moisten between her thighs. She moaned softly and Ace answered her with one of his own. He slid his hands over her ass and pulled her harder against him. When he finally broke the kiss, they were both panting.

“How about you go shower and get ready for bed? I’ll wait for you down here,” Ace said to Daisy. She looked at him for a long moment, as she got herself under control, then smiled at him.

“Ok, but you can come up and wait in my room, then you can shower. Then we can get some sleep. I have guest rooms…but I wouldn’t mind company,” Daisy replied softly. She looked up to meet Ace’s eyes, shyly.

“I would very much like to hold you all night, sweetheart. Thank you for asking me to. I’ll bring your clothes up while you shower, and you can show me where to put them. Now go shower woman. It’s getting late. I know you are beat despite taking a nap,” Ace commanded.

“Bossy!” Daisy laughed as she got up. Ace swatted her affectionally on the ass when she stood. She took Ace by the hand and walked with him to the laundry room. They gathered the stacks of neatly folded clothes and took them up the curved staircase. Daisy led him down the hall along the balcony to a large master bedroom. The room had a massive King sleigh bed against the far wall. It had a thick dark blue comforter covered it. Several throw pillows graced the headboard. On both sides of the bed were small 3 drawer night stands. A matching dresser, with a large mirror sat on the wall to the left of the door next to a chest of drawers. The wall to the right of the door had 2 large windows, that when sun was shining allowed lots of light into the room. The door to the master bath was on the same wall with the bedroom door.

Daisy headed to the dresser and began to put away her clothes. She blushed as she realized Ace had folded her underwear and bras. He came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She leaned back into him for a moment.

“Don’t be embarrassed, sweetheart. I have seen women’s underwear before,” She jerked her head around at that comment.

“Sorry, I shouldn’t mention other women, but I know we both have a past. I haven’t been with anyone in a year. I’ve only had a couple of girl friends in the past, but things didn’t work out. I have mostly had one-night stands or hook-ups. I have always used condoms, but as you know the military checks us out regularly. I want you to be comfortable with me,” Ace finished his confession quietly.

“Ace it’s okay, really. I’m not a virgin and I don’t expect you to be one either. I haven’t had sex in years, like 3 or more. I haven’t ever had a boyfriend. I never made time. It was usually casual flings with someone I worked with or the occasional hook-up. I have only done that a couple of times, because it’s not safe. I too have practiced safe sex and get tested regularly. I have an IUD for convenience. No periods make it much better when out in the field,” Daisy looked to Ace. “Now that we have the awkward talk over. I’m going to take a shower. I would invite you to join me, but that would mess up the no sex tonight.”

Daisy smirked as Ace’s eyes dilated and his breathing sped up. She leaned up grabbed his neck and gave him a quick kiss. She then grabbed some clothes out of a drawer and headed for the bathroom.

She exited a little while later, Ace was sitting on the bed waiting patiently. He had gone back down stairs and gotten his bag and brought it up to her room. Daisy was dressed in a tank top and shorts that hugged her curves just right. She hadn’t put on a bra. She liked to be comfortable when she slept, but she was suddenly self-conscious about the no bra thing. Ace got up, grabbed his bag, and moved past her to the bathroom. Daisy went to the bed and threw the covers back. She got her lotion from the bedside table and proceeded to lotion her arms and legs. Then she slipped under the covers.

Ace exited the bathroom about fifteen minutes later dressed in only a pair of boxer-briefs. He stalked to the bed on the side closest to the door, where Daisy was laying.

“Move over sweetheart, this is my side,” Ace commanded her. Glaring at him, Daisy complied. Once he had crawled in, he reached for her pulling her to his side. He had her back to his front, and he wrapped his large body around her small frame.

“This is my house, you know.Thatis my side of the bed,” Daisy grumbled in frustration. Ace chuckled at her indigitation.

“I know, sweetheart, but I need to be closest to the door in case of an intruder. I need to protect you,” Ace said with conviction.

“I can take care of myself, Ace. There’s a 9mm hidden in a secret drawer in the top of both bedside tables. I have no intention of being caught unaware. Plus, the security system would alarm before anyone got inside, much less in this bedroom,” Daisy told him.

Ace turned away from her to look for the hidden drawer in the bedside table. He sat up and inspected the gun and ammunition. An extra loaded clip was laying in the drawer with the weapon. He was a little surprised at her preparedness. Was she expecting a home invasion where she would need so many rounds? He chuckled at first at the overkill, but then he sobered at the thought of her needing to defend herself on American soil.

“Meet your approval?” Daisy asked. She had rolled onto her back and had her head turned so she can look at him.

“Yes, I am a little surprised at the amount of ammunition you have though. Are you expecting to be invaded by an Army?” Ace chuckled a little as he placed the gun and clip back into the hidden drawer and closed both it and the top drawer.

“Hey, I’m ready for whatever might happen.” Daisy smirked at him.

“Yes, you are sweetheart. Now let’s get some sleep, shall we?” Ace asked as he again slid in behind her and wrapped her in his embrace. Daisy sighed contentedly. She had never slept, actually slept with a man before. More importantly she had never brought one to her house. She usually waited for him to fall asleep then she would get up and sneak out. The fact she had Ace here in her bed, her home was monumental. He just didn’t know it.

Chapter 13

Daisy was standing in the cold dark night. Where was Luke? He should be here by now. She was suddenly sick; something had happened to him. He would never leave her out here in the dark alone and afraid. A car was traveling down a dark road. It was Luke. Daisy was in the car with him, now. How did he get here so fast? She didn’t remember getting into the car with him. He was driving a little too fast, but not much over the speed limit. Suddenly bright lights rounded a curve and the world exploded. Glass was flying. The sound of metal crunching was deafening.

Daisy could see him then. He was lying in a pool of blood. It dripped from his nose, mouth, and ears. His breathing was weak and shallow. He wasn’t moving. He looked dead. Daisy screamed out her anguish with a loud, NO!

Jerking awake with sweat pouring off her skin, Daisy felt the warm embrace of the handsome man lying behind her in bed.

“Shush, sweetheart. It’s alright. You’re just having a nightmare. I’m here. You are ok, sweetheart,” Ace crooned to her in a soothing tone. Daisy relaxed against his chest, despite the fear still coursing through her. With a heavy sigh, she worked to get her breathing and heartrate under control. After a few minutes, Ace asked quietly. “You want to talk about it?”

“N-no…I can’t right now. I…I just can’t,” Daisy’s voice hitched and she could feel the hot tears that had welled in her eyes. She desperately wanted to keep them at bay and not sob like a baby in front of Ace. She wanted to get up and seek privacy in the bathroom, but he had a tight grip on her. Ace didn’t say anything else. He simply held her close to him and placed a kiss on top of her head. After several minutes when Daisy was sure she wasn’t going to cry, she turned in his embrace to face him.

“Thank you for not pressuring me to talk about it. It’s not something I am comfortable talking about. I’m sorry, but I’m not ready for you to know my demons, just yet.” Daisy told Ace as she placed a soft kiss on his bare chest. She snuggled into his body. He had both arms around her, and he gently ran his right hand up and down her side in comfort.

“I’m here sweetheart, whenever you are ready to talk about it. I won’t force you but know that I am always here to listen. I won’t judge you. We all have demons,” Ace imparted as he continued to run his hand up and down her in a soothing motion. Daisy just nodded and settled into him more. Sleep came again after a long time.

When Daisy woke a few hours later, Ace was sleeping peacefully with his arms still around her. She tried to shift out from under him without waking him but was unsuccessful. As soon as she moved, he stirred tightening his embrace. She stilled not wanting to wake him but needed to use the restroom. She laid there for a few minutes. She squirmed a little as she tried to get the urge to pee to pass.
