I got this.
My cell vibrates, and I know that it must be Halo. She wants more, but she still has a few more years of school. She’s going to be an awesome attorney. Yeah, the MC’s attorney; that’s why the MC paid for her schooling. I’m so fucking proud of her, and we just need to wait until she’s done.
That’s what my Prez wanted, for me to wait until she’s done. Sometimes I feel that he was stringing me along, first until I finished my schooling, then until Halo finished.
Now I’m the Prez, and I can do whatever the fuck I want, but I think that Halo should focus on her schooling, and after, we can make it official.
I ride down the road and turn into the MC’s clubhouse gravel drive. I ride across the parking lot and park at the back door of the clubhouse. I pull out my cell from my Cut, slide my finger over the screen, and look at the text.
Halo ~ Where are you?
Of course, she’s waiting for me, and that makes my soul soar. It feels damn good to have her.
I grind my molars and look at the Brothers outside the Pavilion, drinking and talking. I know that the clubhouse is packed, and I don’t fucking feel like talking to them.
I see my sisters and Halo and her sisters in the back corner, close to the lair. I don’t want them out; there are too many Brothers from the other chapters, and I don’t want them to think that they can touch them.
It's not happening.
I slide off my bike and walk towards them before a Brother distracts me. I stop in front of the girls, stoned-faced. My heart and soul are sad, and I don’t fucking feel like hiding my feelings from the girls.
“Demon, it’s about fucking time! I was worried,” Poison hums, resting her hands on her hips.
My sister Poison is a fucking handful; she’s stubborn, strong-willed, and mouthy. But she’s also loyal, smart, and full of love for us.
“Fuck yes! I texted you,” Halo says, lowering her eyelids and crossing her arms under her awesome breasts.
“I had to ride alone to clear my mind,” I say, gazing into Halos’ eyes.
“Demon, there’s a shit ton of bikers from the chapters,” Candy hums, pressing her lips tight.
“I know, so I want you girls to go to your room and not come out. Where is Mama Bear,” I say, looking over at the Brothers.
“Mama Bear is in her room, she’s not taking this shit very well,” Cherry says, looking at the Brothers.
I know that she’s looking for Romeo, and for some reason, Romeo is ignoring her. It seems that he’s staying away from her when in fact, they’re so damn close. I remember how he always was with Cherry since we were kids. I’m going to have to talk to him.
I will feel better knowing that they’re in their rooms. Their rooms are located on the second floor of the clubhouse. The only entrance is a heavy steel door situated near the Prez office. You enter the door, and it leads up the stairs, where there is another steel door that opens into a hallway.
The girls are the only ones who can open the steel doors. The upper floor is divided in half, sort of like two apartments where they live. One side is the Miller girls' living space, and the other side is the Cox girls' living space. They have another steal door to enter their apartments. The apartments have three bedrooms, a kitchen, a living room, open space, and a bathroom.
So, it’s a fucking safe space for them. The Brothers are not allowed to go up to the second floor.
“I’m going to order some pizza, and Fiend will bring it to you,” I say, glancing at the Brothers yelling.
One of the Brothers from the Reno Chapter has one of the club whores going down on him.
“Sounds good, and don’t forget the drinks,” Poison says, moving her head up and down.
“I want some beer,” Candy hums, looking at her cell phone. She’s my other sister, and she’s quieter than Poison.
“I’ll wait for you here,” Halo hums, lifting her chin.
“No. I don’t want any of you out here. Go to your rooms,” I hum, staring at her.
“Fuck you! You’re just playing me,” Halo says.
“I need to talk to the Brothers from the other chapters. I’ll come looking for you,” I hum.
