“Right. I’ll be waiting,” Halo says, tossing her long, dirty blonde hair over her shoulder.
“Get gone,” I growl, getting impatient to get them locked up.
“Don’t fucking forget, or else I’m come looking for you,” Halo hisses, pressing her lips, lifting her head.
“I’ll text you,” I hum.
“Okay,” Halo says and starts walking to the clubhouse.
“Come on,” I say, tilting my head.
The girls walk after Halo, and I follow them. I need to ensure that no fuckers see the steel door or the girls go inside.
Halo stops at the door and waits for the girls to open the steel door. She steps up next to me, wraps her arms around my waist, and leans into me.
“I’m so sorry for your loss. Please don’t forget about me,” Halo hums, looking up with tears in her eyes.
I rub my finger over her cheek to catch the tear that rolls down.
“I won’t be long, Baby.”
“Okay. I love you, Ash,” Halo whispers, moving her hands up my chest and wrapping them around my neck, pulling me down.
“I love you,” I hum, kissing her.
My kiss quickly turns hot, and I am hungry for more. I pull her closer to my aching cock. I then pull back, gazing into her beautiful, bright blue eyes.
“Baby, I need to talk to the Brothers. I’ll come to you,” I say,
“Okay,” Halo says, moving her head up and down.
I wait until she steps into the stairway, and then I close the door, making sure that it’s good.
I pull out my cell phone from my Cut’s inside pocket and place the order. I text Fiend to handle the pizza.
I roll my head, trying to release the stress. I look around the clubhouse, and I can hear the roar of the Brothers playing pool and drinking.
Fuck, I walk out into the Pavilion to talk to the Brothers. I’ll talk to the ones in the clubhouse right before I go to Halo. I pray this fucking night is over soon because I’m stressed and tired.
Halo walks out of the stairway and into my arms. I pull her close, burying my face in her neck, inhaling deeply.
I love her scent; it’s fresh and makes me crazy.
“Baby, I need you,” I hum, kissing her neck.
“Let’s go to your room.”
I look around the hallway and make sure that my office door is closed. I take her hand, turn around the corner, and walk down the hallway. This area is for the Prez and VP, but we made surethat our blood brothers are also near; we need to have our backs. The other side of the clubhouse has rooms for the club whores and some Brothers.
I stop at my door, and the room is basic, like a hotel room. Yeah, I have my stuff in here and it’s my space.
I open my door, and we walk inside. I close the door and push Halo against it.
“Baby, we’re on our own,” I say, moving my hands to cup her face. I stare into her bright blue eyes that pull me into her soul. When I have her close, I forget everything. Yeah, she’s dangerous, a liability.
My Prez always told me to protect the girls and ensure that they’re safe with the Brothers. Now that the other chapters are here, I get it. Before, I thought the Brothers would never hurt them. But these Brothers, yeah, they’re from our chapters, but I don’t know them. I am glad that the girls are safe on the second floor.
“Yeah, but you got this. I’ll finish school in a couple of years, and I can help you,” Halo says.
