I look at Demon walk into the kitchen; he looks at me, and then he turns to talk to Mom.
“Momma Bear, we need you to get the supplies for Saturday’s BBQ,” Demon says, grabbing the apple from the counter.
He takes a bite of the apple and doesn’t look at me.
“I can do that, but I need help,” Mama Bear says, drying her hands on the kitchen towel.
“I’ll have Killer and Romeo help you,” Demon hums, taking another bite.
“Sounds good. I need help cooking because the club whores are lazy and do everything half-ass,” Mama Bear says, pursing her lips.
“Stupid bitches. I’m going to talk to them because they’re more of a hassle than they’re worth. They’re fucking around with everything,” Demon issues, throwing the apple core in the trash.
“Yeah, that sounds like a good idea,” Mama Bear says.

“Demon, we need to talk,” I say, staring at him.
“I’m busy,” Demon hums, gathering his brows.
“Demon, when do you have time,” I say, trying to be understanding.
“I’ll call you when I have a moment. Right now, I can’t,” Demon says, looking at me.
“Right,” I hum, moving my head up and down.
Demon walks out of the kitchen, and I’m left pissed off.

“Halo, the man is busy,” Mama Bear says, rolling her eyes.
“Mom, I need to talk to him, but the fucker is always hot and cold. He’s giving me whiplash,” I hiss, resting my hands on my hips.
“You’re being dramatic. I know you know that being the Prez has a shit ton of issues to handle. Give him a break,” Mama Bear says, walking to the huge pantry.
“Come on, let’s go! It’s my birthday, let’s party,” Poison says, driving out of the clubhouse.
“Hell yes, it’s going to be so much fun,” Cherry yells, swaying to the music.

I know that Demon will have a fucking cow if he learns that we went to the Dreamhole. I don’t need him on my case since, as he says, I’m the eldest and should know better.
