“What?!” we all shouted in unison. Eyes all over the restaurant landed on us, and even Cyro stood up to see what the fuss was about. I held up my hand to him, assuring him that we were fine, and he returned to his seat.
“Y’all, it was amazing!” she gushed in excitement. “He did me while I did her. He then did her while she did me. Then me and ole girl both did him.”
The way she gazed off in the distance reminiscing on it meant she was going to do it again. I wasn’t against spicing shit up in the bedroom; however, letting another bitch fuck my husband in my face was where I drew the motherfuckin’ line. Wasn’t no other bitch riding that dick while I was still kicking and breathing. Taylor, however, was different. She didn’t see the big deal behind it and didn’t focus on negatives.
“I done heard it all from this bitch,” Angie lifted her hands up, clearly flabbergasted. I would’ve said the same, but after being friends with Taylor for as long as I had, I knew she was capable of doing some pretty wild shit.
Taylor did a little dance in her seat as she grinned. “I’m telling you, don’t knock it until you try it.”
“Y’all going to do it again?” Zylynn asked her.
She shrugged. “We might. I don’t know. He said it was just a fantasy and not something he would be expecting again, which means the ball is in my court.”
“I hope you made her sign an NDA.”
“Hell yeah! I don’t need none of this being held over my man’s head and fucking with his career,” she scoffed before sipping her drink.
The floor was now mine, and just the thought of Amina made me roll my eyes deeply.
“Oop! Why you rolling your eyes so hard?” Zylynn noticed.
“Ahk’s ex, Amina, is in town. You know anything about her?” She had been around Ahk longer than I had, so I figuredmaybe she had some inside tea about the dynamic of the ended relationship.
“They were together for a while on and off. She moved to Houston after they broke up. She does this podcast that’s getting real popular now.”
“After the shooting, she came over to our house with Diamond and the guys. I leave for two seconds, and the bitch already out on the terrace with my husband alone. Not to mention, she has a terrible-ass staring problem. She just stares and doesn’t give a fuck about getting caught either.”
I couldn’t front like the whole Amina situation hadn’t been on my mind. It started with her staring, almost like she thought the longer she stared at me, I would eventually disappear and she could regain her spot on Ahk’s arm. I peeped game but didn’t say shit until she thought it was cute to try to catch a moment alone with my man. I wasn’t a jealous female. Ahk was free to have female friends outside of me, but she just left a bad taste in my mouth. I could pinpoint a sneaky bitch from a mile away, and she gave just that.
“When they were together, she was real territorial about him. Maybe she’s having a hard time with the fact that he moved on and got married.” Zylynn shrugged.
I scoffed loudly. “She needs to get over it and kick rocks back to good ole Houston, Texas. Y’all know I changed, but it only takes one thing to get me back to checking bitches.”
The ladies and I wrapped up eating then did some shopping before we ended the day. Spending time with them was refreshing and helped me take my mind off all the wild shit that had been going on.
Cyro drove me back to the penthouse, and upon pulling up to the building, my face screwed up as I noticed Ahkeem and Brooke going at it at the entrance of the parking garage. “The fuck? Cyro, stop the car.”
He okayed me and stopped the car, and I hopped out before he could even get the chance to come out and assist me.
“Ahkeem, give me my son! I’m trying to be as nice as possible, but you’re making this bigger than it has to be!” she shouted while desperately trying to push past him to get to the back door of Ahk’s car where Saphir was.
Ahk had pulled into one of the entrance lanes of our parking garage and stopped his car there. Right behind him was Brooke’s car, which was inches away from rear-ending him, letting me know that she had been in pursuit behind him. As I approached them, I checked the time and realized that Saphir was out of school an hour ahead of time, which confused me.
“Respectfully, fuck you, Brooke!” he jeered down at her, standing solid in front of the door. “This my week. This you being on bullshit again, yo.”
“My son was in a fucking drive-by shooting, and you think I believe he’s safe around you?!”
“What is going on?” I stepped to my husband, making my presence known.
Ahkeem was so locked in on going at it with Brooke that he didn’t even realize that Cyro and I pulled up. The scene they were making was escalating and catching the attention of people who were passing the building or coming in and out of it.
The way his jaw flexed and nose flared, Brooke only had a few more minutes before he completely went off on her. I had to get to the bottom of this shit now. They always fought like this, and what made it even worse, they did this shit right in front of Saphir. There wasn’t a moment where the two genuinely got along, and I knew I played a big part in Brooke’s attitude toward Ahk. In her mind, they were supposed to be a family since she blessed him with Saphir, despite them not having that dynamic in the first place. Ahk made it known that he only fucked Brookea handful of times and slipped up on a drunk night. Saphir was a blessing. His mama, however? She needed some damn help.
He completely ignored Brooke fussing behind me and focused on telling me what the fuck led to them going at it in front of our building. “Blue told the guidance counselor at his school about the shit that happened at the funeral. They called me and her stupid ass, and now she’s trying to take him during my week. On my mother, I’m gone snap this bitch neck.”
Dealing with them was like dealing with two kids who were insistent on clawing each other’s eyes out. They didn’t give a fuck who was around or where they were. If they wanted to argue, they were, and that was end of discussion.
“Nigga, fuck you and your dead-ass mama!” she spat with a roll of her neck.
