Char shook her head.“At least two, a cook and a housekeeper. But they don’t live here.As far as I know, it's just Ty and Rosie inside right now.”

Kelly looked over at Char as she whispered too, “Ok, once we get inside, me and the boys will find Ty.You find Rosie. You can take Crusher with you while Comanche and Chase come with me.”

Char nodded then looked over at the guys to ask, “You sure you all wanna do this?”

The men simply stared back at her and then they all grinned.

Kelly chuckled.“That means they think your question is damn silly.”

Char smiled warmly at them all.“Thank you.”Turning, she climbed through the broken fence.

Kelly followed the boys across as well.

Char led them to the basement door and they found that it opened easily. They all filed in and followed the route to the door that opened into the darkened kitchen.

They trailed through the kitchen to the stairway leading upstairs.

Char looked over at Kelly and whispered, “At the top of the stairs, Rosie’s room is to the left and Ty’s room is straight down at the end of the hall to the right.”

Kelly nodded then said softly, “Let’s go while we have the element of surprise on our side.”

They climbed the stairs in silence.

At the top, Char and Crusher took the left hall while Kelly, Comanche and Chase took the right hall.

They came to a stop at the double doors.Kelly leaned her head toward the door and realized it was quiet on the other side. She reached for the doorknob and turned it slowly.

The door opened and the late-night light cast a soft glow into the room. There was enough light for them to make out everything there. The wide king-sized bed on the left and seating area on the right. The room looked pristine in its elegance.

Kelly quietly stepped inside. She looked at the sleeping figure on the bed and sneered without saying a word.

Ty Regis lay in the middle of the bed.He was a big guy and his hands resting on top of the blanket looked to be big enough to snap bones in an instant. But his hands also looked soft, not like he’d worked hard all his life. One of the kind of men who just took what he wanted from anyone who wasn’t well off enough to fight him.

He also had an arrogant look on his face that told Kelly exactly what kind of man he was even while he slept. She curled her lip up a notch and made her way carefully over to the bed.

A selfishness reflected from his overall presence that told her he was a user and a despot. This was a cruel man who didn’t care about anything but the next dollar he could steal away from someone who’d worked hard for a wage.Like what meant everything to them was his prize to take. The only way he could be happy was when he made others miserable.

A man just like her Uncle Victor or her so-called father Owen. She knew his type alright. He wore a cruel smirk on his lips.Kelly knew his type and she despised them.

Yeah, she was ready to lay this fucker out.

Kelly looked up and Comanche and nodded.
