Video life?I brought up their pictures again. Oh. My. Goddess. You’re not Three Bears Road Trip? How had I not connected the names?

We aren’t? This is Aldrin. Please don’t hold our trip to Monaco against us. It’s not our usual kind of adventure, and I told Saber we should just toss the whole thing.

That trip was amazing.I choked, gathering breath to type, glad I didn’t have to speak.I’m sorry. I’ve seen every one of your videos, and that was my second favorite.

What was your first?

Definitely the Search for the Lost Bears in those caverns. I was so scared you’d never make it out alive.

Judah here. And then you realized that if you were watching the video, we must have?

I asked them for five minutes before the zoom call so I could go brush my hair and put on a little mascara and lip gloss. These bears could probably have any number of females in their lives, and if I was going to have one call with them before they realized I was so ordinary they lost interest, I was at least going to look my best.

Don’t let them find out how many times I’d dreamed of having a similar experience, hitting the road and making lifelong friends to travel with forever. Or, in my deepest fantasies, as more than their friend.

Chapter Six

Saber

“Are we ready for this?” Judah asked. We put our phones down while Posy took a few minutes to herself. I figured she was going to change clothes or use the restroom. Maybe grab a cup of coffee. We had no idea what time zone she was in. Hell, it could be night where she was for all we knew.

“She’s in the US,” Aldrin said, answering one of my questions.

“How do you know that?”

“Because her profile. It might help us to look at more than her picture, guys.”

I laughed. “Well, to be fair, we didn’t really get a chance. We were matched and instantly got a message.”

I refrained from telling my sleuth mates that my bear was instantly on board with Posy. Just by the picture.

Then again, maybe he was overly eager. He wasn’t the only one.

“I can’t believe she watches our videos. That’s…”

A ringing sound came from all three of our phones but instead of overwhelming her with three squares on her screen, we mounted the phone on one of our tripods and answered only from my account.

“Hi, guys. It’s nice to see you.”

Aldrin munched popcorn like we were seeing the latest blockbuster instead of meeting a potential mate. I shook my head and chuckled at him.

We had moved to the couch where I gripped the edge of the cushion in a lame attempt to console myself and my bear. This was no ordinary female.

Mate. Find her. Go to her. Bring her to the den. Now.

My bear spoke to me often, but in this moment, he was loud and rightfully so.

Posy was gorgeous.

Long brown hair pulled over one shoulder. She had a simple V-neck white T-shirt on with some jeans. Her lips shimmered with gloss, and her brown eyes were almost the same color as her hair. Tanned skin. Plump lips.

She must’ve had the camera propped on a desk or something.

My bear stirred inside me. If he could jump through my phone and throw her over his back and bring her here, he would.

“It’s nice to see you too. I hope this is not happening too fast for you, Posy.”

She snorted at Judah’s words. “It was my idea, guys.”
