Then her lips slowly curled upward.

The more Bianca kept talking proudly about herself, the more amused Amara looked.

And suddenly—

Amara burst out laughing.

She bent slightly at the waist, one hand gripping the car door as laughter escaped her uncontrollably.

Bianca’s face fell instantly.

The anger on her face deepened when she realized Amara wasn’t hurt at all.

She was laughing at her.

“What’s so funny?” Bianca snapped angrily.

But Amara only looked at her like she was watching something ridiculous.

“You,” Amara said through her laughter, pointing at her lightly.

Bianca’s face instantly turned red with humiliation.

But before she could explode, Amara casually opened the car door and slipped into the driver’s seat like she didn’t have a care in the world.

Bianca remained standing outside the car, glaring at her furiously through the window.

Amara rolled the window down slightly.

“Thanks for the 9 PM comedy show,” she said cheerfully.

Then, before Bianca could respond—

she pressed the button and the window slid back up directly in Bianca’s face.

A second later, the car pulled away from the curb and drove off.

Bianca remained standing there alone in the street, her face twisted with humiliation and fury as she watched the car disappear.

Felix checked the time on his watch as he stood inside Elias’s living room.

It was barely six in the morning.

The sky outside was still dim, and exhaustion still lingered heavily in Felix’s eyes.

Across from him, Elias sat on the couch fully dressed in a perfectly tailored suit, looking fully awake for someone who hadbarely slept. He leaned forward casually with his elbows resting on his knees, his attention fixed on the phone in Felix’s hand.

Felix glanced at the screen showing Amara’s contact before looking back at him.

“Mr. Creed,” he said carefully, “don’t you think this is a little too early to call Mrs. Creed? She might not even be awake yet.”

Elias straightened slightly against the couch, his expression turning arrogant.

“I don’t have time to waste,” he replied coldly. “If she doesn’t answer the phone, that’s her problem.”

He glanced at the phone again before continuing flatly, “And if she complains later, tell her my schedule is packed for the next six months and I won’t have time to go deal with divorce procedures.”
