When he came back out, he had on a fresh condom. He grabbed me by my waist again, but this time he pushed me back against a wall. He jerked me up, and my legs automatically wrapped around him. He pushed inside me. Then he fucked me hard against the wall. I was noticing a trend here. Nico went hard and fast. That’s how he liked it.

This time he didn’t slow down. He didn’t massage my clit. He just fucked. It didn’t matter. I was so full, stretched so tight, that every thrust brought me closer to climax. I screamed when I came this time, letting go of any inhibitions I had left, and it seemed to turn him on even more. He followed right after me, groaning in ecstasy as he emptied himself inside me one more time.

He pulled my head towards his, smashing his lips down on mine and entering my mouth with his tongue. “You’ve made me a very happy man on my birthday, Jelly. Thank you, baby.” He kissed me roughly, consuming me, for a few minutes before he pulled out of me and moved back. “I’d love to live in that pussy all night. But I’ve got work to do. And so do you.” He gestured to the bathroom. “Go get cleaned up. You have tables of men out there who are going to smell sex on you and go insane.” He winked. “Your tips will be great, but here’s a little extra in appreciation of the birthday present you gave me.” He pushed some bills in my pocket, and I felt a bit like a prostitute.

He must’ve seen it on my face, because he kissed me again, gently, and said, “It’s to show my appreciation. Not to pay you for sex, baby.”

I nodded.

He brushed a hand across his mouth and looked down at me. His blue eyes were intense. “Now that I’ve had your pussy,I’m going to want it again. But Carmen’s not going to let that happen.” He ran a hand through his hair. “I’ll try to figure something out.”

I nodded, not sure what to say, and he turned to leave.

I went to clean up, wondering how in the hell I was supposed to work after that. After I made myself presentable, I thought to see how much money he’d given me. It had felt like a lot. A few hundred, probably.

As I looked at the wad of bills, though, my mouth dropped open. It was ten thousand dollars.

Ten thousand dollars and the best sex of my life… by far.

I knew I had passed inspection and the job was mine. I would be hostess at Sugar and be able to pay for school. It was a huge relief.

I also knew I shouldn’t tell anyone what happened between me and Nico in the VIP room. And even though my attraction to him had just increased by about ten thousand percent, I knew I had to keep things strictly professional between us from then on.

CHAPTER FIVE

Paolo

I walked into the hospital director’s office. We played golf together, so I assumed he was just going to talk about getting together for a tee time sometime soon.

That is not what happened.

“Paolo,” he said, coming around his desk to shake my hand. The big smile he gave me didn’t quite reach his eyes, and I couldn’t help but think he was acting strangely. “Have a seat.” He tented his fingers and watched me long enough that I was starting to grow uncomfortable.

I sat down. “What’s this about, Stu?

“Ah, well, it’s, um, kind of uncomfortable for me, to be honest.” He pulled at his collar.

“Oh my God. Am I being sued for malpractice?”

“No. No, nothing like that. It’s… of a personal nature.”

I frowned.

“You have brought so much good press and attention to this hospital. You really have.”

“Thank you.” Damn right I had. Everyone knew I was their media darling. I’d invented a synthetic ligament that could be used in a variety of orthopedic surgeries. I’d been a visiting surgeon at several top name hospitals in the nation. Honestly, I thought I could do no wrong where the hospital was concerned.

“The, um, problem is that you’re seen as a… playboy.”

Not this again. First my dad and now my job? Either I was just having a bad couple of months, or I needed to slow my rollas far as the ladies were concerned. At least publicly.

“Playboy.” So, it seemed like the rumors of discontent I’d heard about hospital administration and my personal life were true.

“Yes.” He seemed to be feeling better now that he’d said it. “You’re seen in public with a constant stream of different women, many of whom are not exactly considered appropriate by the hospital board. You rarely show up to events with dates, but if you do they’re not women who reflect well on the hospital.”

“So, what are you saying? How should I fix this?”

“We’d like you to date well-known women around town. Society darlings,” he clarified. “We want to see you with women who are intelligent, ambitious, work hard to improve their community, and are interested in chairing foundations or charity events.” He paused, turning a little pink. “And they should, um, be dressed appropriately.”
