“What do you want to do, kitten?” Eli whispers in my ear.

I could let them take care of this. Let them resume their rule or I can stand with them. Prove that I’m worthy of their attention.

I step toward Luke and both Eli and Jack clear a path for me. Luke draws me into his side.

Ethan sneers at me, which is a little funny given he’s in my panties. “You think she’s yours? Then why did she give me her panties?”

Luke glances down at my skirt and lifts the back, revealing the silky panties I have on to the crowd watching. “My girl has on her panties.”

“Ask Penny, she was in there with us.” Ethan’s closing the trap around himself.

This time Natalie steps up with Penny behind her. “Penny was with me this whole time.”

“Fucking liar.” Definitely rage on Ethan’s face now.

Natalie smiles. “We both know who the liar is. Don’t we, Ethan?”

“Get off me, man.” Ethan tries to pull away from Caden, but Caden tightens his hold.

“Did you think we’d actually let you get our girl alone?” Caden’s words are quiet but ring loud in the room. “That we would let you put so much of a finger on her?”

Caden’s green eyes lift to mine and I straighten, showing him my strength.

“Did you smell them?” He gives me a smirk.

“They were soaking wet for me.” Ethan tries to bluster his way through this.

Caden laughs. “You’ve got my cum on your cock, asshole. She’s wet because I fucked her, because she’s mine.”

“Fucker,” Ethan says under his breath. His gaze lifts to mine. “Fuck you, bitch.”

I just shake my head. Ethan makes a strangled noise and falls to his knees. Caden’s face is blank as he pushes Ethan down.

“She’s ours.” Caden lifts his head and his green eyes capture everyone in the audience. “You enjoy my hospitality. You want us to be merciful. Then know that Harper Davidson is off limits. You fuck with her, we’ll fuck with you.”

CHAPTER 11

The crowd watches with amusement, but there’s a layer of fear beneath it. My friends built this while I was gone. It’s the world Harper avoided at all costs. And now she’s part of it, part of them. Part of us.

I scan the faces, looking for whatever master Ethan serves, because even I know after a few weeks of being around Ethan in football practice, he’s no mastermind. Someone else is pulling his strings. They’re coming for us, but we’ll be ready.

“What should we do to him?” Jack yells to the crowd. Jack’s smile is cruel. Ethan represents everyone who has been terrorizing Harper. He’s our outlet for our anger and frustration, but also an example to those who may think the horsemen have gone soft.

Harper leans against Luke. Our gazes meet. Neither of us were a part of this. Who would I have become if I had stayed instead of leaving?

The crowd murmurs as they try to come up with something.

“Who wants to see him dance?” Jack’s eyes sparkle with an unholy light. His smile is delightfully wicked.

The crowd gives him what he wants. Their approval seems to fuel his fire. He gestures to the stereo and someone turns on the music.

“You heard the man.” Caden lifts Ethan to his feet. “Dance for your admirers.”

Ethan’s hands cover his junk. He stands with his mouth pressed into a thin line and a mulish expression on his face.
