“Fuck, Theo, I think I might…” I’m barely able to get the words out through my heavy breathing.

Theo puts his forehead against mine, tightening his arm around my back as he brings me closer to the metaphorical edge. My grip on his cock tightens intandem with the tightness inside me. If I’m going over the edge, I’m taking him with me.

“Come for me, Angel. I’m right behind you…fuck.” Theo pulls me into a kiss as he continues to pump his fingers in and out of me, expertly circling my clit.

I pump him faster, he kisses me harder, and the moment he curls his fingers inside me again while nipping at my bottom lip, I lose all control.

“Fuck yes, just like that, Sienna,” Theo breathes. We fall over the edge together. The tension in my lower spine finally explodes into a warmth of bliss, as he does the same into my hand. Theo holds me from falling over the railing as my back arches so far that I can almost see the trees behind me.

Catching me before I arch too far, Theo pulls me into his chest. We stay like that for a minute, listening to each other’s breathing as we both come down from the high. He plants a few kisses on the top of my head, and I do the same to his bicep. Warmth overcomes all my senses as I listen to the beat of his heart, slowly coming down from its elevated state. It’s a sound that could put me to sleep right here in Theo’s arms.

When Theo finally moves, he fixes my shirt and shorts, zipping up the hoodie to properly cover me from the elements of the night. Wrapping an arm around me again, he gently lifts me from the railing, then looks us both over to ensure we are presentable enough to go back inside.

Peeking through the back door, we find the living room pitch black. We must’ve been out here so long that the movie ended and everyone headed upstairs for thenight. That makes going back inside less nerve-racking at least.

I’m not looking forward to the many questions I’ll be getting from Beth tomorrow.

Taking my hand, Theo leads me through the sliding glass door and up the back stairwell to his bedroom, both of us taking a turn in the bathroom on the way.

Once the bedroom door is closed behind us, Theo stands at the end of the bed, staring at the line of pillows down the center of the mattress. Moving to “his” side of the bed, he pulls all the pillows off, throwing them across the room to the seat at the bay window.

“I never want to see a pillow wall again.” Pulling back the covers, he climbs into bed and pats the side next to him.

I smile at his distaste for the pillow wall, but stall when he invites me into bed. I still haven’t spoken a word since we were downstairs, and I’m starting to feel overwhelmed that no pillow wall means yet another thing has changed between us.

“Hey, talk to me,” Theo says softly as he props himself on one elbow on my side of the bed, leaving very little space for me to crawl in next to him.

“We just broke so many rules, Theo.”

“I know. But I promise, this won’t change anything. The goal is still for both of us to have jobs by the end of the summer. Don’t you want to have a little fun in the process?” He reaches over to my nightstand to hand me my bonnet so I can begin prepping my hair for the night. The motion is so domestic, it sends a wave of butterflies through my stomach.

Beth has been telling me to have fun this summer. To let loose a little and give in to my urges. There’s still plenty of time for us to secure our jobs. He’ll talk to Roman, and I’ll help him prove he’s mature enough to work for his brother’s company. Although I’m still not convinced taking this other job isn’t the right choice.

This was by far the most fun I’ve had since I’ve been here. It was also the best orgasm I’ve ever had, and he only used his fingers. I can’t imagine what sex with him is like. Maybe I am overcomplicating things.

Then again, I do like structure.

Finally climbing into bed next to him, I respond, “Of course I want to have fun. But if we’re going to have a summer fling while still helping each other, then we need a new set of rules.” This makes Theo smile.

“Are you sure that’s a good idea? We clearly have a habit of breaking your rules.” Theo winks and tosses an arm around my waist.

I give him a playful shove. “I’m serious, Theo. We can help each other and have fun in the process, but you can’t fall in love with me.” I cross my arms, hoping to convey my seriousness to him that this rule cannot be broken.

I was serious when I said I needed to focus on building my career. I can’t be distracted by men. Especially not men like him. I simply don’t have time for them until I’ve settled into my career path.

Theo raises an eyebrow at me. “Isn’t there already a rule set. You’renot supposed to fall in love withme.”

“Trust me, that won’t happen,” I respond with an eye roll.

Theo falls to his back on the bed, making a handmotion as though he just took a knife to the chest. I laugh off his dramatics while settling further into the covers myself. Theo’s arm wraps around me again, flipping me to face away from him as he pulls my back into his chest.

“Okay, no falling in love. But please tell me you don’t have a rule against cuddling?”

I look back at him over my shoulder. “No, I guess cuddling is fine,” I say on a sarcastic sigh. Theo responds with a kiss to my cheek as he nuzzles into the back of my neck.

“Good night, Sienna.”

“Good night, Theo.”
