“I think you like it.”

“I think you’re impossible.”

I prop myself on his chest, my lashes fluttering. “Yet you can’t resist me.”

“I’d argue, but the evidence is against me.” He trails a finger over my cheek.

Our eyes meet.

He drags his thumb across my lower lip.

“Are you sorry?” I hold my breath.

“No.” His voice is soft, wrapping me up like a warm blanket. “You?”

“No.” When he swipes his thumb over the damp flesh once again, my tongue sneaks out and licks. “I’ve never seen midnight eyes before.”

His gaze flashes, darkens. “That’s funny because I was thinking I’ve never seen eyes look like lightning.” When I tighten around his shaft, he chuckles. “You’re so easy.”

“Don’t ruin this for me by being annoying.”

He tucks a lock of hair behind my ear. “You want to please me. There’s no shame in that.”

I scowl, digging my nails into his chest. “Your ego needs to be humbled on the regular.”

“Your cunt disagrees.”

“Is that so?” I clamp my inner walls down around him.

He sucks in a breath, his cock hardening. “Not fair.”

I do it again, rocking forward. “Now, what about me makes you think I’m interested in fair?”

He groans and pushes up his hips, sending a jolt of pleasure through me. “You’re so evil. I love it.”

“Of course you do.”

Other than the glow of lights from the parking lot, the sky is inky dark. Between our two vehicles, Jessica and I square off in our separate corners. Since we skipped the awkward goodbye the first time around, neither one of us quite knows what to say or how to leave.

I’m still not sure I understand what happened.

One minute, I was texting her to provide an innocent update, and the next, I was pushing her into the back seat of my SUV.

I run a hand through my hair, doing my best to collect my thoughts, even though I’m wrecked.

We fooled around for over two hours. Two grown adults, who should know better, parked in a deserted corner of a fucking Walmart, going at it like a couple of horny teenagers.

What’s worse? I don’t want to leave.

It makes me nervous, because leaving is not a problem I have. I’m always anxious to be on my way. Not that I don’t let a woman linger, because I’m not a total asshole, but I’m still ready to be on my way before she is.

So, not wanting to let Jessica Moore out of my sight is exactly why I should get in my car and drive away. But all I can think about is that at this time next week, I won’t have to.

I’ll see her walk down the hall.
