… She stabbed him…

It’s been a couple of days since we dropped Jag off with Lucy and Billie. I call daily to check up on him, and since the guys have implemented the ‘Caroline and Ella aren’t allowed to go anywhere alone,’ rule.

Caroline asked me to go to her doctor’s appointment today with her. Ash couldn’t make it. So, of course, I did. It’s been weird not having Jag at the house, or the twins.

“So, are you going to keep the house?” She asks me as we walk out of the hospital and towards where I parked the car.

“I dunno.”

“I mean, your stuff is already here.” She tells me, making me smile. “You and Axe could just move in.” I smirk as I look over at her. She’s wearing a full grin as she looks back over to me. Knowing that she just nonchalantly mentioned us moving in together.

“I think that may be a little weird.”

“Okay, so you think you’ll get another place?”

“I was meaning if we moved in together right now. But are you trying to kick us out already?” I laugh, looking over at Care, who then shakes her head.

“Hell no, I’m about to have an infant. I need all the help at the house I can get.” She laughs.

I laugh with her as we walk around the Jeep, and she gets in as well as I do. Backing out of the spot, I pull out of the garage. “Drive.”

“What the fuck?” I snap as I turn around and hear him.

“You turn around and I’ll pull the trigger.” It comes out in a gruff and when I look over, I see the barrel pointing at Caroline. “You want to be the reason she fucking loses the baby?”

“Ella, it wouldn’t be—”

“Shut the fuck up.” He snaps again. “Turn here.” He tells me as I veer the Jeep in the direction.

“You know that all the vehicles have trackers, right?” Caroline shouts at him as he shuts the door to the basement. I can hear the lock sliding into place.

“You think I haven’t already thought about that. I disabled it before we left. So, nice try.” I look at her wide eyed.

“What do we do?” I ask her and she sighs. Looking around, I walk over to the wall and flip the switch.

“Why did you do that?” She snaps as I hush over to her.

“Calm down. Look.” I point even if she can see me pointing.

“Light.” She whispers before I flip the light back on and move over to the wall it’s coming from.

“Come on. We have to move it.” I call to her as she comes over. I stand up on the wobbly table as she moves to the other side of the fridge, and we slide it to the side. The window is small, a normal basement size window. “Care, can you fit through it?” I ask, turning around.

“I… I should be able to.” She whispers as I push on the window, but it doesn’t budge. Looking around again, but there’s nothing here for me to use.

The sounds of the floorboards above us cause me to freeze as I look back down at Caroline and she shakes her head before she quickly reaching for me and helping me off of the table. Keys jingle in the lock before the door creaks open. Then footsteps on the stairs leading down to the cellar. I quickly jump down off of the table and we continue to look around.

“You two are going to be my bargaining chip.” I’m assuming to be Marc, says.

“You really only have one. My dad’s dead… my connection to the club is severed.” he laughs out… I mean, I had to try, right?

“Don’t play me like I’m stupid.”

“I mean, if the shoe fits.” Caroline tries not to laugh as Marc grows furious, coming up to me, gripping onto my throat as he slams me up against the wall. My feet aren’t even close to touching as I stare back at him.

“You fucking cunt,” he leans into me. “You think I don’t know about your baby. Shit, I told Lee years ago that he should have told Axelrod about his kid. Stir up trouble. But the fucker had a soft spot for you, for some reason.”

“It’s because I’m so damn adorable.” I rasp out from the difficulty that his hands squeezing on my throat causes me to produce any sound. “But you can’t use me as a bargaining chip, if you kill me.” I force out again before he looks at me and I can see him fighting with his thoughts before he completely lets me go and storms back up the stairs.
