“When you’re set, text this number.” He slips a card into Pera’s hand.

“I’ll make sure you all get there safely.”

The girls thank him and me.

“Call or text once you’re at the helicopter and back at your dorms. I want to know you made it home safe.”

We embrace and say our goodbyes.

Two hours later, I’m dressed in Nico’s Penn State T-shirt and red basketball shorts, held up at the waist by a hair tie. Nico has also dressed casually, sporting navy basketball shorts and a t-shirt.

My friends texted twenty minutes ago, letting me know they made it back to their dorms safely.

It’s time for a little fun. I stand on a chair while Nico hauls Fefe’s body off the floor.

She comes to, thrashing, a muffled scream tearing through the gag in her mouth. No one hears her. The shouting, the laughter, the moans from the rooms lining the hallway swallow every sound.

My ex-boyfriend is running his own brothel tonight.

Genius.

Her ankles are bound tightly with zip ties. Nico forces her wrists together in front, restraining her as she struggles fiercely, kicking and twisting. My hand strikes her cheek sharply. The slap lingers in the air.

“Don’t hit his crown jewels,” I say evenly. “If you do, I’ll cut you into little pieces myself.”

Her eyes widen in shock. She screams louder against the gag.

“Scream all you want. No one’s coming. Your cries get lost with all the other moaning and screaming.” I tilt my head, watching her closely. “I don’t even think you know who you’re dealing with.”

Nico sets her on her feet beside me and lifts her arms overhead. I move fast, looping the rope around her wrists. A moment later, Fefe is dangling in the air, toes barely brushing the seat of the chair.

Nico grips my waist and pulls me down off the chair.

“I’ll make sure she’s secured,” he says, stepping into my place.

My eyes trace him without thinking—his arms, his abs, the power in his legs.

Fefe whimpers as Nico tightens the rope, the fibers biting into her skin. He hops down and stands beside me again.

“I’m teaching you a lesson, Fefe,” I say evenly. “Being cruel isn’t cute. And if you even think about reporting this… your family will start disappearing. One by one. We’ll begin with dear old Dad. The one who pays for that cushy little life of yours.”

I rush to the bed and snatch the switchblade. I return to the closet, slicing through the zip tie binding her feet. With a flick, the blade snaps shut before I leap into Nico’s arms, wrapping mine around his neck.

“Nico Pitucco is in the mafia,” I say sweetly. “And he’ll be the next mob boss.”

Nico’s lips curl into a smile.

I steal a glance at Fefe—tears streak down her flushed cheeks.

“Don’t test the Pituccos,” I whisper softly.

Her feet hang just over the edge of the chair seat. She can balance on her toes if she chooses, but struggle too much and herlegs will slam against the backrest, leaving nothing but empty air beneath her.

She can hang there for a couple of hours while I fuck Nico. Later, my men will dump her a block away from campus. I’ll enjoy my last night with Nico. Because once he graduates, we’ll officially go our separate ways.
