“Nothing. It’s just… This is surreal shit, isn’t it?” He shakes his head, then brushes a rogue strand of hair out of his eyes. The simple movement makes my heart race as I recall how he stroked me earlier, his firm grip around my shaft and the way it loosened around my cockhead.

“What is?”

Wes leans over the table. “Look, I just didn’t see this coming, okay? That I’d run into my childhood hero, then end up doing swapsies with him in confined spaces. Not to mention eating breakfast together. Like I said, surreal shit.”

“Swapsies, huh? What, are you like sixteen?”

Wes waggles his eyebrows, which is the corniest thing ever. “Libido-wise, yes.”

“You’re ridiculous.”

“Pft, you’re warming up to me, admit it. I see you, Coach Cordier.”

I see you.I think if he really did, he’d run screaming for the hills. If Wes saw what a mess I truly am, he’d soon get over sharing swapsies and breakfast with me.

Wes twirls a finger around the excess syrup on his plate, then mirrors my movement from earlier when I sucked his cum off my thumb. He’s shameless, really, and still, I’m transfixed, pulled into his orbit, unable to resist him. He moans around his finger, then shoots me a blinding smile. My dick stirs, straining against my pants. A smudge of syrup clings to his chin.

“What?” he breathes, still licking his lips.

“Nothing. You’ve just got a little…” I nod at his chin.

“Oh.” He wipes at his chin, but he just makes it worse. “Did I get it?”

“Yeah.” I force myself to look away before I lean over the table and suck his entire chin into my mouth.

“You’re such a fucking liar,” he laughs. “Get it for me, will you?”

Fuck my life.

I look around the café, but everyone’s minding their own business. I reach out and wipe the syrup away with my thumb. Wes’ skin is so hot under my touch, or perhaps it’s just me, burning up. My thumb hovers in front of his mouth, and before I can pull away, he sucks it, humming exaggeratedly. His eyes roll all the way into his head, and I can’t tell if he’s playing with me or if he’s really that into sucking my thumb in a public place. It doesn’t really matter.I’mfucking into it.

He releases my thumb, a string of saliva suspended between his bottom lip and my finger.

A groan builds between us, and when Wes smiles at me knowingly, I realize it stemmed from me and my reaction.

“Omg, stop!” he hisses. “You’re gonna get me hard with all that sinful moaning and groaning.”

“Suits you just right,” I whisper back. “Looking like a fucking porn star making love to my thumb.”

“Aww. Some other part of you is jealous, huh?”

“No.”

“Liar.”

Liar.He has no fucking idea. But it’s hard to keep up my walls when he looks at me like this, when he bares himself to me. It dawns on me that I’m the most honest when I’m with him. Letting down my guard, even just a little, is a scary thought. I hope it won’t backfire, but even if it does, I know the truth. I’m drawn to Wes like a moth to a flame, and I couldn’t stay away even if I wanted to. So I give him something, even if it’s just a small concession.

“Maybe.” I hold up my thumb and index finger between us. “Maybe I’m just a little jealous.” And I don’t regret my openness for a single second when I’m rewarded with the biggest smile ever.

Chapter 11

Wes

Theguyacrossfromme at my station winces as I massage his finger. He severed a tendon and had to have surgery to stitch it back up. It’s my job to make sure his extensor tendon works properly once he’s healed.

“Does it hurt?” I ask.

He shakes his head and shrugs while watching me with side eyes. “Nah, it’s just… gross, man. You sure you can rub on it like that, stitches and all?”
