“Oh, yeah.” Jahrae nodded as he whipped into a parking spot. “I know it's a bunch of hoodrats in there. My type shit.” He greedily rubbed his hands together.
“Hoodrats, yo?” I chuckled.
“Hell, yeah. I like ‘em ghetto with a big ghetto booty.” He opened his arms for emphasis.
Lil ugly sat next to me, shaking her head. “Mama definitely dropped you on your head a few times. There’s no other logical explanation.”
Clearly not caring about what his sister had to say, Jahrae hopped out of the truck, and everybody else followed suit. The parking lot was prowling with madpeople, as I glanced down, straightening out the Amiri fit. You could never go wrong with the printed tee and distressed jeans combo.
Glancing to my left…I peeped that lil’ ugly was doing entirely too much. She was rocking a off-the-shoulder cropped tee, some lil’ ass distressed denim shorts, Louie sneakers, with a Louie cross-body bag. Her long hair was done up in medium sized curls that reached the middle of her back, while dramatic baby hairs framed her face. Her whole look was loud as fuck, and was sure to draw too much attention.
Physically, lil’ ugly had ocean deep dimples, caramel brown skin, thick running track legs, wide hips, slim waist, perky, full titties, with a round bubble butt. Shorty was mad thick…and ugly as hell. I mean…unless you were into soft, pouty lips, high cheek bones, almond shaped, dreamy eyes…then you might see it differently. Heavy on the might.
“Yo, ya moms and pops couldn't have saw this lil’ fit, before we left,” I guessed.
Lil’ ugly tossed some hair over her shoulder. “You’re worried ‘bout the wrong thing.”
Stepping up to her, I flicked her hair. “Whatever, yo. I guess you like being atack-head, as you like to say.”
She pursed her lips, while glossing them up with her fruity gloss. “Yep. Just like you.”
For a sec, we both stood there, staring at each other.
“Ewe. Could y’all be any more obvious?” Jaylah cringed.
“Yo, you buggin’.” I waved her off, after finally breaking eye contact with lil’ ugly.
“Nah, that’s y’all weird asses,” Jaylah insisted. “And it’s not fooling nobody.”
“Whatever.” I waved her off, as we headed towards the strip where the hall was located.
Naturally, all eyes were on us, as we stood out like sore thumbs. Everybody in the crew was decked out in fly shit. All designer, while mostly everybody else was clad in Nike type shit.
Low key, I understood Jahrae’s reasoning for preferring to party in the hood. We were different and shinned different amongst the people partying. It could be a major boost to the ego…but it could also be problematic, because some niggas were natural born haters, and could mistake us as marks, because we had more. On the flip side, the hood girls were faster. They could really shake that ass, and they were fun to play with. So, Jahrae loved it.
Me, on the other hand, I wasn’t fascinated with hood shit or the people in it. So, it really didn’t matter where I kicked it. I just wanted to catch a vibe.
Nevertheless, we all filed into the building, while the music was blasting. The crowd was mad thick, as everybody was basically shoulder to shoulder.
“Aye, me, you, JJ, and Jahlero can go holler at the birthday girl and her friends,” Jahrae suggested, as he spoke in my ear. “And let the girls do their own thing.”
I shook my head. “Nah, B. Y’all go ‘head. I’ma chill with them.”
“But she’s lil’ ugly, though.” Jahrae shook his head, and waved me off, before him, JJ, and Jahlero sauntered off, disappearing into the crowd.
Standing not too far from the exit, the girls had posted up, while I stood beside them.
The place had to be over capacity, because it was way too many people crammed into the space, which had me uneasy. So, I figured that it was best to remain near a exit.
Being a creature of habit, I stood back, taking the scenery in. People were mostly standing around, while a few girls gave some niggas roll-ups. The typical teenaged shit.
By this time, Lil’ ugly and Jaylah were a bit more relaxed, and had gradually started dancing to the music. Not too long after, Jaylah was full out performing, while grabbing her knees, and bouncing her ass.
For a second, lil’ ugly stood back, watching her little sister do her thing. Then the deejay switched it up, getting her hyped.
“Trap, TrapMoneyBenny. This sh- got me in my feelings. Gotta be real with it, yup. Kiki, do you love me? Are you riding? Say you'll never ever leave from beside me. 'Cause I want ya, and I need ya…”
Clearly, that was lil’ ugly’s shit, because she whipped her hair over her shoulder, before bending over, grabbing the floor, while gyrating her ass.
