“He said you were jealous because you wanted me for yourself.”
Derek kept his face neutral. “What else did he say?”
“What about?”
“I want to know all of it, Kieran.”
“Why?”
“Just answer the question,” he said, his tone sterner, which appeared to give Kieran a full-body shudder.
“He offered me a one-off fuck or a promotion.”
Derek asked him to elaborate, and Kieran explained Grant’s offer. He felt a flash of something when he heard about Grant ruining Kieran for other men. He put it down to his protectiveness rather than anything else.
“I assume from your presence here that you chose the promotion.”
“What makes you think I didn’t come here after getting fucked?”
Derek closed his eyes in frustration. If he didn’t have a prior relationship with Kieran, he’d love nothing more than to teach this brat some manners.
“Wouldn’t you be struggling to walk if Grant had lived up to his promise? That’s certainly how people leave here when I’ve given them everything they need.”
Kieran blushed and looked away. Derek wasn’t sure why he’d said that, but his cock certainly liked his reaction. Fuck! He needed to get the conversation into safer territory.
“Kieran, what caused you to come storming round here wanting a fight?”
“Grant said you were jealous.”
“And how do you feel about that?”
“Are you admitting it?”
“That’s not what I said. Answer my question.”
“You’re very bossy.”
“Kieran!”
“Were you my mum’s dom?” He looked shocked that he’d asked that question.
“Do you want me to answer that question, Kieran?”
“I think you just have,” he said, pulling a face.
Derek chuckled. “You shouldn’t make assumptions about people’s preferences, Kieran. I thought you’d be more mindful of that.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“Well, you’re a sub, aren’t you?”
He shrugged. “I guess. I can’t have this conversation with you. It’s weird.”
“I think we crossed that line when you asked me if I wanted to fuck you.”
Kieran flushed again. It made the tattoos on his neck pop more. The boy was stunning and seemed oblivious to the heads he turned. It hadn’t just been Grant who was looking at him earlier. Kieran had had a lot of lustful eyes on him in Knights Corner.
“You still haven’t answered me,” said Kieran, sticking his chin out, trying to look all defiant.
