I always needed more.

But this time she was in control, my body merely a slave to her bidding because she fucking owned every single inch of me.

She grabbed onto the back of my neck, pulling herself up until her mouth found mine, her languid kisses sweet and warm and wet. Then she started riding me, slowly, and the pleasure sensors in my dick ignited a fire at the base of my spine, the fuse burning rapidly, ready to set off the explosion in my balls any second.

Her hands moved to the headboard, leveraging herself against me as she slid up and down on my dick, drenching me, her tongue stroking along mine, matching the rhythm she’d set and I matched her. We were one, in harmony.

She kept it up until it wasn’t enough, until we both needed more, and her pace built as she began bucking against me while her tongue plunged aggressively into my mouth, giving me the green light to finally let loose against her. Gripping her hips, I pounded her onto my dick, the sound of our sweaty skin slapping together fighting against the volume of our heavy breathing.

“Lex… fuck. More. I’m going to come.”

The pressure in my balls was building at warp speed, ready to blow, and my legs began shaking as I held back my orgasm, desperately trying to slow down the electric current ricocheting around my chest, zipping through my veins until I could feel her fall into her own abyss.

“Christ… Mol… I can’t hold on…”

Her tits bounced in my face as my thumb found her clit, causing her to cry out as she shattered in my arms, her pussy clamping down immediately onto my still-hardening dick, making it jerk so forcefully I couldn’t hold out against it. Lighting shot down my spine, my balls exploding so violently, like a supernova sucking me into a black hole, I thought my dick might be stuck inside her forever. Something I’d have no problem with.

Her hot pussy continued spasming, milking me for all I was worth, until I had nothing left to give her and she collapsed against me, sweaty and spent. I could feel her heart hammering against my chest, just as mine hammered against hers. Her lips found my neck, her kisses tender and gentle, a contrast to the fierceness of the love we’d just shared, and I never wanted it to end.

Because this was what I wanted, this was what’s important.

This was the quality I was talking about.

Chapter 35

Ikicked open the door to the scrub room, throwing my cap, gown and gloves in the disposal, then slid down the back of the door to sit on the floor, needing a minute. The tears that had been threatening to fall since I’d opened my patient up, were now breaking through in angry, silent sobs, my hand covering my mouth so no one in the OR could hear how much I’d been affected by it.

Poor fucking kid.

Even though I knew the probabilities going into the surgery after having seen his x-rays, I still always worked under the assumption that I could fix anything.

Only this time, I assumed wrong, and now my residents were stitching up the stump on his below the knee amputation. His future in football had been destroyed by a freak accident on the field, which had crushed his ankle, lower tibia and fibula beyondeven my skills to repair. He was only twenty, and now he’d be learning to walk with a prosthetic and run with a prosthetic, but he wouldn’t be playing football with one. While studies into the advancement of prosthetics in major league sports were happening, it wasn’t far enough down the line yet.

And that was so fucking unfair.

And there was nothing I could do about it. This wasn’t the first athlete I’d operated on whose career had been cut short, and he wouldn’t be the last, but that didn’t make it any easier to swallow.

I jolted as someone tried to push the door open, almost sliding me out of the way with the force as it jolted again.

“Molly, what are you doing?” Jameson pushed the door. “Can you get up?”

I slid over so he could come in and got to my feet, moving to the sinks and turning on the water for my scrub down.

He stood next to me, turning on his own faucet. “Are you okay?”

I ripped off some paper towel from the dispenser and blew my nose before taking the fresh soap Jameson was holding out to me. “Yes, I’m fine.”

“There was nothing you could have done.”

I began sliding the bar between my fingers and up my arms as it foamed. “I know. It’s still bullshit though.”

He sighed. “Yeah, I know.”

We stood in silence, watching through the window as the residents got ready to wheel him into post-op. The foam ran down the drain as I rinsed everything off, drying my hands with a cloth, handing it to Jameson when he was done rinsing off.

“Thank you.” He threw the towel in the laundry bin, looking at me. “Do you need a minute?”

I sniffed, shaking my head and he held the door open for me as we walked out and down the corridor. “How’s Felix doing?”
