“What the– Oh. Sorry. We heard screaming.”

Fabiana broke away from the kiss but Adonis didn’t release her. It didn’t stop her from recognizing Giuliana and Pasquale were both in the room. They’d come for her.

What am I doing?

“Don’t fight me,pequeña. Not now. Not after that.” Adonis shifted them until they faced the intruders—um, saviors—in their moment.

“Hi, Giules,” Fabiana offered lamely.

“Well,helloto you, sis.”

“I assume you won’t need to keep threatening to rip me apart,” Adonis intoned behind her, close enough she felt the vibration of his voice.

“Nah, that’s still on the table, even after she’s good with you. Make her cry and your balls are mine.”

“Giules!”

“What, Fabiana? It’s what I do.”

“Agreed. For now, I want to take my mate home. It’s time she met her pack.”

Fabiana looked up at Adonis. “Mywhat?”

“I’m an Alpha, Fabiana,” he answered, gazing down at her. “What else would you expect?”

“I–” She shook her head. Not yet. No. She couldn’t.

“Shh,pequeña. We will save that for later. Let’s just go home. When you’re ready, we’ll involve the others.”

“Why are three of my wolves being carted away?” Pasquale interrupted.

“Because they hurt her.”

Pasquale lifted a brow. “Fabiana?”

She dropped her head.

Two fingers lifted her chin, forcing her to meet his gaze. “You bow to no one.” Adonis turned his attention to Pasquale. “And that is between my mate and me.”

“Make sure they hurt then.”

“Absolutely.”

Great, it seems I’m moving.

“Why can’t I smell you,pequeña?”

And I’m not answering that.

“I’ve never seen the Moonstone lands. No time like the present.”

“Hmmm.”

Okay, that didn’t sound ominous at alllll.
