My lips squeezed together, I watched as he lowered himself onto my shaft. He was slow, and it was intense. I wanted to buck up but knowing Penn, if I did that, whatever plans he had he’d change them with the goal to frustrate me.
Once he was fully seated, we each released a breath.
“Damn, you feel good.” I sighed.
“So good,” Penn agreed.
He began rolling his hips slowly, his eyes never leaving mine. There was an intense intimacy to this. He was on complete display for me, his hands pressing on my pecs, our breaths growing harsher as he picked up rhythm.
It was like a dance, and the music was building with each glide. He started lifting and falling over my cock, and I could tell he was close. Grace turned into frantic movements, and soon he was riding me hard and I loved every second of it.
“Fuck, yes,” he shouted as he covered my abs with his come.
I gripped his hips, jackhammering up into him, chasing my release. Penn’s head was back, his gorgeous body on display andjust looking at him, feeling his tight heat wrapped around me, made me see stars and I was coming inside him with a shout of my own.
He rolled off me, his arm against mine, both of us gasping for air and our skin glistening with sweat and come.
After a minute, I got up and went to the bathroom, cleaned myself up, and grabbed a washcloth. Penn hadn’t moved, so I sat beside him and lifted his leg a bit to check his hole. It was red and puffy, but there weren’t any tears or bleeding thankfully. I dabbed the warm cloth to his hole and where other people would sigh with relief, Penn didn’t make a sound.
“He won’t stop, Gid.”
I peered into Penn’s green eyes. “I know.”
“Solange needs to beat him because if he becomes governor, it’s gonna be a nightmare, more than it is now.”
I brought the washcloth to the bathroom and tossed it into the laundry basket. “She’s up in the polls.” I leaned against the doorframe separating the rooms. “Him winning or losing doesn’t change the fact that he needs to go. I can’t let all he’s already done slide.”
He leaned up, resting on his elbows. “Benito advances fast. You think things out, plan, and then strike. He’s either thinking faster, or he’s just doing. His way is rash, but it’s been effective. He’s causing damage.” He grabbed his phone. “The fight in the store is trending. Someone took video. Once they figure out who I am, the news will report it, and then Benito’s hope to make you appear dangerous to the community is in full swing.”
“If they took video, it shows those idiots instigated it.”
“Doesn’t matter. He’ll focus on the violence of it all, how if you weren’t running things this wouldn’t happen.”
I pushed off the doorframe and went to the walk-in closet to get some sweats and a T-shirt. “I’m not running for any office. I don’t see how making me look bad affects the election.”
“He wants your power, Gid. He knows Solange answers to you in a lot of ways.” Penn strode in and pulled out pants of his own. “Once he has your power, all the loyal soldiers will turn to him for all the riches you gave them. And it wouldn’t shock me if he tried to show the people just how tight your relationship is with Solange.”
All of the worries Penn was vocalizing were valid. Benito did work fast while I checked every nook and cranny. The best way to beat your enemy was to understand his style, find its weaknesses, and place the bombs there. I wasn’t going to avoid it getting bloodier; I just needed to keep my family safe while I brought Benito Calvern to his knees.
CHAPTER THIRTY
Penn
The twins would be homein about half an hour, so Gideon and I made something to eat quickly since they would have already eaten. We were sitting in the living room finishing up when Gideon’s phone vibrated.
“Alex,” he said by way of answering. “What?” He put the phone on speaker.
“We ran into a problem.”
“What kind of problem?” I sat and listened while Gideon talked to Alex.
“We were leaving the restaurant, and about four guys approached us. I had enough people with me to defuse it, but they were shouting some horrible things about you. Olivia started crying, which set Mila off, and she scratched one of the guys across the face. Owen got scared, which pissed her off even more…it was a mess. Cops were called, and we’re currently outside the restaurant. Police won’t let us leave. Mila’s in the back of a cruiser because the man she assaulted wants to press charges.”
I was watching Gideon; he pinched the bridge of his nose before he stood. “I’m on my way. Say nothing.”
“And Mila?”
“Are they sending her to the station?”
