Winston nipped at his neck instead of replying, and the sharp of teeth against his skin, just below his faded, broken bond mark made his breath catch. He glanced at the alpha, who looked up at him with a mischievous smirk and a dare dancing in his eyes, and it took everything Rupert had to say, “I’d prefer you not do that again.”

“Ah,” Winston said, gaze filled with instant understanding. “Apologies.” Then, quickly, “Most omegas like it.”

“Yes,” Rupert agreed, “I just don’t …”

How was he supposed to explain that even though it felt good, that he liked it immensely, he was afraid? Breaking the bond with Thomas had been hell, something he’d like to never repeat.

“No, I understand,” the alpha said softly. “I just know … it’s a sensitive spot for some, and I thought you might enjoy it.”

Rupert dropped his head. “Well, I do—but I—”

Fingers on his chin, tilting his head back up a touch. He looked into the alpha’s dark gaze for a second, then let his eyes fall shut as their lips met. “You don’t need to explain,” Winston said as they pulled apart. “You don’t want to be touched there. That’s good enough reason, and if I can’t respect it, I have no right to touch you anywhere.”

Rupert huffed, a little dizzy on sensation, the words swimming through his ears. His heart leaped at the very thought—an alpha who tooknofor an answer, no qualification necessary?

“I’d rather like you to keep touching me,” he said, suddenly afraid that Winston might stop whatever he was doing with his other hand—Rupert couldn’t follow it, but it felt amazing. He kept pushing his hips into it, delighting when he found more friction.

“Yes?”

Rupert’s breath came short. “Yes,” he panted, “whatever you’re doing—I—I like it.”

A pinch, and he cried out, rocked his hips erratically. “It,” he panted, desperately trying to hang on to his train of thought, “would—be a pity to stop now, I’m—”

He tilted his head back with a soft cry. Winston’s lips were at the hollow of his throat, and Rupert found a frenetic pace, almost slamming himself down on the alpha’s cock, moaning as he did it, and everything was suddenly too much and not enough, all at once—

He came with a cry, and Winston had to grab his hips, steady him, lest he topple over. He shuddered through it, opening his eyes and staring blankly at the ceiling, groaning with each subsequent ripple as Winston pushed into him.

He hung his head again, almost limp against Winston as the alpha kept fucking him—no urgency, just gentle and wonderful, and Rupert whimpered against him.

At last, the alpha let up. “Still feeling good?” he asked, tilting his head down toward Rupert.

“Amazing,” the omega puffed.

“I can keep going,” Winston said softly, and Rupert let his eyes flutter shut. “Would you like to?”

“Yes.” His brows knitted. “No.”

“No?” He could practically hear the alpha’s arched eyebrow.

“No,” Rupert agreed, then gritted his teeth. He could have pitched his entire reproductive tract out the window—it would choose now to start cramping up, wouldn’t it? Bloody uterus. Useless organs.

“Did I hurt you?”

He forced his eyes open. “Not so much. Just … I have … pain, sometimes.” Most of the time, actually.

“Ah,” Winston said. “Why don’t you go lie down then?”

“Is that … would that be okay?”

“Of course,” Winston agreed. “I’m not going to force you.”

Rupert’s stomach gave a sick lurch. “Of course,” he agreed quickly, trying to shove away the thoughts of Thomas doing that exact thing. How much it had hurt. Thomas ignoring him. He bit his lip.

Winston patted his hand. “Go lie down. Have a nap. Whatever you need.”

Rupert nodded, then slowly peeled himself off Winston. “Maybe … maybe a shower?”

Winston smiled. “Of course.”
