He looks down and, when I assume he sees Ana, he narrows his eyes at her and shakes his head but there’s a smile on this face.
He helps her up as she continues laughing while holding her legs together.
“His road name is going to be easy to decide tonight,” Axe says with laughter in his voice.
I nod my head in agreement.
“I think we are going to have to keep an eye out on Dani and Ana. Those women are going to keep us on our toes for sure,” I tell him.
“You’ve got that right, brother,” Axe says in agreement.
“Church,” Prez says with a grin on his face.
I walk over to Ana and give her a kiss before I follow my brothers into the room where we hold Church.
We talk business as usual before we get onto voting on the prospect who has completed his prospecting period.
“Now what do we think of Jason?” Prez asks the room.
“He’s going to be a loyal brother. He never complains, even when we gave him some ridiculous tasks,” Tank says.
“He’s also respectful to the Old Ladies we have, and Mama,” Axe speaks up.
“I’ve also seen him turn down club pussy because he has tasks to complete,” Flame chimes in.
“Let’s vote. Who is all in favor of patching in a new brother, Jason?” Prez shouts.
Everyone agrees on voting him in.
“Whiz, go get our new brother, Squeak,” Prez says with a grin.
The name he will be given causes everyone to laugh before Whiz leaves the room.
We all get a serious look on our face before the door opens again.
We have to mess with him a bit.
“Prospect! You have completed the prospecting period,” Prez says, looking at him with a glare.
The prospect nods his head and swallows hard.
“You need to take off that prospecting cut,” Prez says to him.
Squeak’s shoulders fall as he slowly removes it.
Prez stands up and walks to the other side of the room where Squeak’s new cut is.
“Welcome to the club, brother,” Prez says before handing it to him and grinning.
Squeak looks up at him in surprise.
“Here’s your new road name and patch,” Prez says before handing him a stitching with “Squeak” on it.
Prez looks around the room with a grin. “Dani told me what she and Ana wanted to do. I had a couple made to choose from based on how he reacted to the prank.”
I chuckle. Of course, Dani told him. She probably wanted to make sure it was okay to scare him, since she is just getting used to club life.
“Let’s go celebrate our new brother,” Prez shouts before everyone cheers.
