Chapter Fourteen

Levi “Ice”

I wake up with a smile on my face. We have Ana in between us, which is the absolute best way to wake up.

Today I have a date planned with Ana. Viking wanted us to have some time alone. I was surprised at first, but that’s due to my insecurities of not believing all of this is real that they really want me to be a part of this.

Ana had been complaining a lot that she has been craving a lot of different foods. Her random and diverse cravings make it hard to decide on a place to take her, so I get up to make a few calls to take-out places.

I plan to bring a bunch of foods for us to eat for a picnic.

There’s no telling what she will be craving today, so it’s best to give her many options.

We have a couple hours before we are heading out, so I get everything I need and place it in the truck.

Viking comes out of the house while I’m walking back after finishing packing everything we need.

“You guys have a good time today,” he says while wrapping his arms around me.

Fuck, I don’t think I could get used to the easy affection that these two freely give to me.

“Are you sure you don’t want to come?” I ask.

“No, we all need to have time alone together once in a while. I think it’ll be good for you two. Besides, I have stuff planned for today,” he rasps.

“What kind of stuff?” I ask when I pull away so he can grab his morning coffee.

“It’s a surprise,” he says with a wink.

“Fine, I won’t ask, but I can’t wait to see what it is,” I tell him.

Ana comes walking out, looking sleepy. “What time are we leaving?” she asks with a yawn.

“Whenever you’re ready. I just need to step out for a few minutes while you get ready. Then I’ll be back to pick you up,” I tell her.

“Okay,” she says with a smile.

I head out to grab all the food I ordered. There’s no way we can finish all of this, but I think it’ll be worth it.

I grab some flowers on my way and, when I get back to the house, Ana is there waiting for me on the porch with Viking.

Fuck, she’s beautiful. She’s wearing a simple sundress and has got minimal makeup on with her hair in soft waves down her back.

I grin as I walk over to her and give her the flowers.

The smile she gives me when she takes them is stunning, and I want to make her smile like that all the time.

“Are you ready, baby?” I ask.

“Can you put these in water?” Ana asks, handing the flowers to Viking.

He nods his head. “Sure thing, have fun you two,” he says before giving each of us a kiss and heading back into the house.

I put my hand on Ana’s back as I walk her to the truck. I help her in before walking over to the driver’s side.

“Where are we going? And what smells so good?” she asks, looking around.

“We are having a picnic,” I tell her.
