The ‘Ol Ladies in my chapter couldn’t give a shit about anyone else. They only care about how much power they have bybeing claimed by a Brother. Willow cares about the Brothersandtheir women.

Grey and I just stare at her like idiots, even after she ends the call. When she sets food down in front of us and gives us one of her snarky comments that I’m starting to love, we finally snap out of it. He gives me an unreadable look when Willow is looking at her food, then his look turns into a hard stare and a nod. I’m taking that as he is on board for the plan. I guess he can’t ignore how selfless and fuckin’ perfect she is anymore. I’ll give him points for sticking it out for as long as he did, even though it also made him a fuckin’ idiot.

But to be fair, Willow has that effect on both of us.

When we are done eating and planning out how we are going to have one of us with her every second, we start cleaning up. The men in her family do it with no questions asked when she cooks for them.

While I’m doing the dishes, I see Grey bringing her coffee. I’m a little pissed that I didn’t think of it, especially when I see the smile that lights up her face directed at him instead of me. I’m going to have to get used to seeing my girl give him her attention, too, if this is going to work. Even though it was my plan, I’m going to need to work on reining in my possessive side.

Taking a minute to beat down my jealousy, I see her looking at me, probably checking to see if I’m okay. I give her a smile to show her that I’m fine with it and get back to the dishes, giving them some privacy. We all need to sit down and talk everything out, but I need Willow to see that Grey has feelings for her, too, and get her to stop being so skittish when we are alone. I can tell she is still holding back with her affection. She is inexperienced, and I need to tread lightly with her.

When we are done cleaning, I look at Willow, who is trying to focus on her laptop. I think she’s too preoccupied with me andGrey to get any work done. I suggest for us all to hang out and just be comfortable.

“It’s still pretty early. You guys wanna watch a movie or something?” I ask as Willow starts packing up her laptop. She freezes for a second and looks to Grey, waiting for his answer.

“I could watch a movie, just not a chick flick,” Grey replies, looking at Willow with a raised eyebrow.

“Sure, a movie sounds good. I have all of the streaming services for some reason. I don’t really know what’s out—I only watch reality shows and Food Network,” she says with a smile, looking between the two of us.

I take the opportunity to walk over to my girl, grab her by the hand, and walk her to the living room before she has the chance to start overthinking. She’s letting us take the lead on this, and I know that my baby likes to keep control. I’m not going to give her the opportunity to second-guess anything in that beautiful, chaotic head of hers.

When we enter the living room, I walk her to the couch, and she sits down, scooting to the corner of the giant L-shape. That’s not going to work for our first movie night. I look at Grey, who was walking behind us and is now standing at my side. He looks at me with a raised eyebrow, silently telling me that he has a problem with this, too.

I reach down to Willow with one arm under her legs and the other behind her back as I pick her up and sit in the corner where she just was, placing her next to me but keeping my arm behind her. She doesn’t protest, just lets out a cute squeak of surprise before she shifts around to try to get comfortable with my arm draped around her. I feel her body tense up for a second when Grey follows my lead and sits down on her other side, after grabbing the three remotes from the coffee table in front of the couch.

“I don’t know which one does what, so I’ll let you find something,” he says, handing her the remotes. He hasn’t used the rough voice with her in a while, but now his deep voice is almost soft when he speaks to her. She pauses for a second before she takes them from him, with her cheeks turning pink and a shy smile.

“What do you guys want to watch?” she asks while turning on the TV. I wonder if Grey knew she needed something to focus on for her to relax and stop her from over-thinking. Maybe it won’t be as big of a struggle as I thought for us to work together.

He grabs one of the blankets next to him and gently lays it over her lap. He then leans back into the couch and makes himself comfortable, scooting over enough that his leg is resting against Willow from hip to thigh and laying his arm on the couch behind her, with his fingers absentmindedly playing with a strand of her hair that escaped from the messy bun.

We both feel her tense again, but after a few minutes of deciding on something to watch, she slowly melts into us. We decide on some weird British baking competition. Grey and I don’t care about the show, we just wanted her to get comfortable. The weirdest part is that after a few episodes, we got into it, too. The evening ended with us all talking shit about cakes and “biscuits,” that are apparently cookies, but not really.

When we are halfway through the season, Willow falls asleep between the two of us. I’m assuming Grey and I notice about the same time, because we are both looking down at her. She shifted after the second episode to get more comfortable; now her back is laying across my chest and both of her legs are draped over Grey’s lap.

I have never been possessive over a woman, but I thought I would be when I came up with this plan. Strangely, I’m fine with the way things are going. I’ve met guys in other MCs that have polyamorous relationships with their ‘Ol Lady, but I neverunderstood how a man could be okay with another man being with his woman.

Now I get it. One man would not be able to give Willow the attention or support that she deserves and keep her safe. It would be a full-time job with everything that she has going on. I would never make her choose between the two of us when neither of us could offer her all of our attention. All three of us have demanding lives and loyalty that could take us away for who knows how long. I would never leave my woman alone and without back up, and I know Grey wouldn’t either.

Now, we just have to figure out how to get Willow on board before she can talk herself out of it.

CHAPTER 28

GREY

Igently nudge Willow to try to wake her up, and I have to move back when her little fist shoots out and almost punches me in the face. Her eyes were closed, yet my spitfire’s fist almost connected with my nose.

Flame quietly laughs and says, “I guess we know to wear protective gear to wake her up.” She looks so peaceful when she sleeps, but I guess she is still a wildcard when passed out.

“I’ll take her to her room,” I tell Flame as I stand up from the couch. Flame nods and stands up, stretching his arms over his head. I wonder if, like me, his arm fell asleep a few hours ago. I pushed through the pain, trying not to wake her up by moving. I was so comfortable with her on me that I almost fell asleep too, but I didn’t want to miss a second of this. Flame turns off the TV and cleans up the snacks that we brought out after a few episodes.

I pick her up, cradling her small body in my arms. She’s so tiny and light; I think back to how much she ate at dinner. She needs to stop getting distracted and eat more. I know she likes sweets, so I make a mental note to find the snacks that I saw her eating in Colombia and order some for her when I get back to my room.

I get to her door and push it open with my elbow. She has a lamp on the nightstand that was left on, and it gives a soft glow to the room. I walk over to her massive bed and place her in the middle of it, wondering how she can get on this thing every day with how tall it is.

I look down at her in the soft light. Her hair has mostly escaped from her bun that she had it in while making dinner. Her delicate features are relaxed as she sleeps, and she lets out cute little snores. I’ve caught her checking me out when we are in the same room together, but I also see her snap out of it the moment that she realizes that she is doing it, taking away the warmth that I feel when her attention is on only me.

I have no idea why it pissed me off so much before. Now, I am starting to see that I took her attention on me as an insult to Addison. I want her to be able to admit that she wants me. I want her to be able to be comfortable enough around me that she initiates contact, or at least doesn’t tense up when I do, like when she’s with Flame.
