“Then, let’s go,” Violet said. “I’ll drive.”

Stella did not argue. She stood up, motioned for Violet to do the same, and when Violet stood, too, Stella moved her hand to her lower back and lifted the shirt so that she could feel the heated skin beneath.

“You’re ready right now, aren’t you?”

“I’ve been ready all day.”

“Why did you wait so long to respond to my text, then?”

“I was working,” Violet said as they walked toward the door.

Stella pulled it open for them, removing the hand on Violet’s skin in order to do it. Her plan had been to put it right back there once they were outside, but as soon as they turned the corner, Violet moved quickly and pressed her to the same wall that Stella had had her up against the previous night.

“I have something I want you to use on me tonight,” Violet said, pressing her body against Stella’s.

“Yeah? What’s that?” she asked, moving her hands to cup Violet’s tight ass. “Do you work out?”

“Do you want to know my exercise routine right now or later?” Violet challenged and pressed her thigh between Stella’s legs.

“Later.”

“That’s what I thought.” Violet leaned forward and bit down gently on Stella’s neck. “Now, I’m going to take you to my place, and we’re going to my room, where I’ll pull it out of the drawer, and you’ll–”

“Do literally anything you want,” Stella interrupted.

She wasn’t sure what came over Violet in moments like this. Violet could be so prim and proper, professional, bordering on anti-social, even, at times, from what Stella remembered, but she could also press her to a wall, apparently, and get Stella to beg her to take her home and do anything she wanted. Not usually Stella’s style or approach, but she was more than happy to go along with it if it meant another hot night with this woman.

CHAPTER 15

Violet still didn’t understand what kept coming over her whenever she was with Stella, but here she was, driving the woman to her house. They could’ve gone to Stella’s, and even though her friends had said they’d stay away for a few hours, Violet didn’t have to bring Stella back with her. In fact, she’d told them that she wouldn’t.

“Stella doesn’t have any roommates. If we do that again, I’ll just go to her place,” she’d said to Arlowe before leaving.

As she pulled into the driveway, she still wasn’t sure if bringing Stella here was the right idea, but she grabbed her purse and waited for Stella to get out of the car before she locked it and headed toward the front door, with Stella following close behind. Violet unlocked the door and let Stella walk in before her.

“So, this is the living room.”

“It’s nice,” Stella said.

“It’s a living room.” She chuckled. “Do you want something to drink?”

“No, I’m okay. I would like a tour, though,” Stella replied.

“Oh, okay,” she said in confusion, having not expected Stella to want to see the whole house.

“Of your bedroom, Vi. Can you take me to your room and show me around?”

Violet gave her a small smile and a nod. Then, she motioned to the hallway that was to the left and walked down it, letting Stella follow her again. She walked by a few doors before she stopped in front of her own.

“I have the master bedroom. It’s the largest of the four.”

“Yeah? So the tour might take us a while, then?” Stella teased. “If we take in each wall individually, that is.”

Violet didn’t laugh, but she wanted to. She pushed open the door, walked in, and let Stella do the same.

“Just in case,” she said as she closed and locked the door behind them.

“I try to run?” Stella asked.
