The movie ends and Drew turns in his chair, grinning, and shakes his head at me. I smirk. Guess he got to witness part of the show. Wyatt stands and stretches.
His eyes soften when they fall on Sara. “I take it we’re all sleeping together again tonight?”
I groan because, while we try to make sure everyone gets a spot and the bed is big enough, only two guys can be beside Sara. Of course, the alternative is we all sleep separately and only one person gets Sara. At least until I creep in and fuck her.
“The weekend seems like a good time to sleep in the huge bed.” Drew runs a hand through his hair. “She likes the cuddle puddle.”
“Can we not call it that?” Wyatt wears a disgruntled expression.
Drew chuckles but doesn’t say he won’t. That’s going to be his new favorite thing to torment Wyatt with. That and fuck buddy. Classic.
I don’t give a shit what anyone outside of us has to say about us, but Wyatt might.
“We’ve avoided the talk about our new arrangement, but it’s going to have to happen.” Dante lifts Sara and she curls into him with a small little puff of breath.
When he heads toward the stairs down to the second level, we all fall in behind him.
“She needs to be part of the conversation,” Wyatt says. “Not faking being asleep.”
I glance at Sara. She used to fake being asleep all the time as a kid to get us to carry her to her room.
She buries her face in Dante’s shoulder. It never fooled any of us.
We walk into the primary bedroom, which has come together nicely. We have a couch and a couple of chairs to one side, and the massive bed doesn’t look unusually large in here like it did in Dante’s room. Dante takes Sara to the couch and lowers her to her feet.
She sighs and sits down next to him.
“Hoping to avoid the talk, flower?” I raise an eyebrow but lift her from the couch before sitting and drawing her down on my lap.
She leans back against me. “Hoping to not have to choose who I do what with and when.”
I was the one who didn’t want to schedule sex, so I’m still on board with that sentiment. But I also want alone time with Sara without her worrying about another cock to please. Even though fucking her together is a lot of fun, I enjoy having her to myself.
Wyatt and Drew take the chairs across from us.
“Still no fucking anyone else.” Sara takes Dante’s hand.
“Who else would we want to fuck, princess?” Drew shakes his head at her like she’s being silly.
“Obviously the original purpose of having her stay at the apartment is null and void.” Wyatt clasps his hands between his knees. “We have the house. When Sara’s parents return, we’ll have to renegotiate if she decides to return to their house.”
He lifts his gaze to Sara’s and she squirms on my lap.
Yeah, her moving back in with her parents is the one thing I’m against, but I don’t say it. Sara has been scared to make a move since that bitch Verity destroyed her. But Sara’s stronger now. She has friends who would do anything for her. And she has us.
“Mom might want me to stay there.” Sara’s tense, like we’ll force her to decide right this minute.
“We’ll cross that bridge when we come to it, flower.” I rub my thumb over her hip bone. Just like we’ll have to decide whether to stay here in this house or move back to the apartment. And if Drew will move in and Tom will move out. Or if we’ll find a new place. These are decisions we’ll make together.
“I still want my dates and Sunday brunch, but I suppose you all can join.” Drew smirks. “Since we’re sharing everything else.”
Dante clears his throat. “We should establish some boundaries.” His icy gaze flicks to me.
I chuckle. He might not enjoy my nightly missions, but Sara does. And she’s the only one who matters to me in this equation, but if we’re going to live together and get along, we’ll need to discuss it.
“The three of us have lived together for a long time.” Dante lifts Sara’s hand to his lips. “Privacy is important and respecting that privacy is also important.”
“Is this the roommate talk?” Drew asks, leaning back. “I’ve never had roommates before.”
