Jagger’s hands clamped onto my hips, and his fingers dug into my flesh as he watched himself disappear inside me like it was the hottest thing he’d ever seen.

I rolled my hips once, grinding down until he bottomed out. A low curse slipped from his throat as I lifted up halfway, then sank back down, setting a rhythm that was mine to control. Up. Down. Slow circles when I was seated deep, forward tilts that dragged him against that perfect spot until sparks lit behind my eyelids.

His abs flexed under my palms with every rise and fall. Sweat beaded along his collarbones and trickled down the valley between his pecs. I leaned forward, changing the angle, letting him hit deeper while I rocked faster. The new position rubbed my clit against his pelvis on every downstroke, a rough friction that made my breath catch and my pace stutter.

“Fuck—Eden—” His hands slid up my sides to cup my breasts, and his fingers rolled and tugged my sensitive nipples. My inner muscles clenched hard around him in response.

I rode him harder then, faster, all my need boiling over. My thighs burned, and my breath came in short gasps, but I didn’t slow. The pleasure built in tight, twisting coils low in my belly, spreading outward until my fingertips tingled and my scalp prickled.

Jagger thrust up to meet me, short, powerful snaps that drove him deeper and that made my whole body jolt. One hand slid between us, and his thumb found my clit and rubbed in hard circles that matched the frantic pace I’d set.

The orgasm built differently this time, not a crash but a slow, inevitable climb. Like pressure mounting behind a dam. My rhythm faltered, my hips grinding down erratically as the tension wound tighter and tighter.

“Jagger—”

“Come,” he demanded as he pressed down harder on my clit. “Come on, baby. Let me feel you.”

I felt another surge of pleasure running through me, and I exploded. My back arched helplessly, my breasts lifting toward the ceiling as my nipples tightened to painful points in the cool air.

His pace faltered as he thrust up, shooting cum into my clenching core. Our combined fluids dripped out of me, coating his hips and the floor under us. I fell forward against his chest, sighing at how good I felt.

“I love you,” he murmured as he pressed soft, delicious kisses against my skin.

“I love you, too,” I whispered, my body trembling in the fading aftershocks. He shifted, and I thought he was about to lift me off him, but instead he reached out blindly toward the side of us.

I heard fabric rustle, and Jagger dragged a folded blanket off a nearby chair and shook it out with one hand before draping it over us. The soft weight settled across my bare skin, warm and protective against the cool air coming from the vents.

“I just want to stay right here for a little while,” he whispered as he tugged the blanket higher around us and pulled me closer against his chest, his arm wrapping around my back like he had no intention of letting me go anytime soon.

That sounded good to me.

I woke to the sound of the elevator’s ding cutting through the quiet apartment.

Every instinct in my body snapped awake, and Eden jerked at the same time, her fingers tightening on my shoulders as both of us lifted our heads like startled animals.

The blanket was half tangled around us, and my dick was still very much inside her.

I quickly rolled us over and pulled out, jumping off the ground and covering her with a blanket as I reached for my gun . . . right as Cruz walked into our living room.

For a second he just stood there, looking more like himself despite the healing cut slicing across his forehead and the slight limp still dragging in his step from getting shot. He stopped dead, and his eyes slowly traveled over the scene and me . . . and the fact that my dick was just hanging out.

Evidently he didn’t have Maddox’s same ability to ignore the elephant in the room, so to speak, because he was staring.

I waved a hand at him to direct his attention elsewhere.

Cruz’s eyebrows lifted so high they were basically attempting escape. “Well,” he said after a second. “This wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but I can honestly say I’m not mad about it.”

Eden made a strangled noise and pulled the blanket up over her face in embarrassment.

I wasn’t embarrassed at all, though . . . I was very much something else. I bared my teeth at him. “That’s it,” I snarled. “How the fuck are you stalking me now?”

Because I had very deliberately not given him the code to our new place.

Cruz’s grin spread slowly across his face. “Oh, you’re wondering about how I got up here,” he said.

“Yes,” I said darkly. “With the code I didn’t give you.”
