“Holy shit,” she blurted, sitting up and looking around. “This is your bed? It takes up almost the whole fucking space.”
“Yes, a bed… room,” I explained, breaking up the word and gesturing to make my point. “Seems to me other people waste the space with such a small bed to sleep in when they gave you a whole room.”
“You’re fucking crazy, but damn if this isn’t the coolest thing ever.” Nic laughed, flopping back into the pillows.
I crawled the rest of the way over to her and cuddled her back to me, letting her body mold to mine. Then I lifted her leg, slid my cock in her pussy, and settled us both more comfortably.
“There, that’s perfect.” I sighed.
“Ah…” Nic said, clearly confused.
“Yes?”
“You’re just going to leave it there?”
Chuckling, I pressed a kiss to her head. “That is the plan. It’s yours, after all. Shouldn’t you keep it warm and safe from others who might want to use it?”
She snorted at my words but wiggled her ass tighter against me, making sure I was as deep as I could get. The happiness I felt there at that moment had me purring up a storm, and there was no chance of getting it to stop.
Nicolette had claimed me.
Now I needed to figure out how to do the same without dying at Nine’s hands. Ah, the interesting dreams I would have trying to figure that problem out.
Today was a good day.
Chapter 15
Nicolette
The feeling of fingers stroking up and down my thigh was soothing and strangely intimate. I’d never been one to let my sexual flings sleep over, nor did I take naked naps with them. It was a mutual means to an end that hardly ever actually made it to a bed. My normal tryst typically consisted of down-and-dirty sex in the locker room. Sometimes I would be taken to one of the rooms LC used for his whores, especially if there were going to be group activities. I would never allow them to pay for the sex, but if they wanted to rent the room, I was fine with that. If LC saw it differently, then that was his problem, not mine.
Which was why the feeling of Circus curled around me, his soft breathing in my ear, fingers gliding over my skin, and the feel of his cock between my legs, with no expectations, was strange indeed. Even still, I had to admit this was something I could easily get addicted to faster than I wanted to own up to. There was a sense of contentment I don’t think I’ve ever experienced before. I didn’t dread someone coming to knock on my door, not knowing who might be on the other side—wondering if this fight would be my last or if I’d make it through another night. Hell, I didn’t have to worry about getting jumped in the showers.
So many things that had become normal in my life for the past ten years were now gone. Just like the day LC sent his goons to get me and dragged me to his office so he could tell me he now owned me. These six men whisked into my life, flipped over the apple cart, and decided I was going to get a new chapter in the adventure that was my life. What I still had to determine was if it would be better or worse than the previous versions of my life.
“What are you thinking about so hard, Neko?” Circus murmured, nuzzling into my hair.
“Everything that’s happened since the twins introduced themselves to me,” I shared, feeling no reason to lie or hide the truth.
“Hmm… that would be a lot to process,” Circus mused aloud, his voice thick with sleep. “Have you determined your feelings about the situation yet?”
“No,” I shared. “That’s still being decided, but I can say that afternoon naps like this are a welcome change.”
Circus shifted, looming over me, his face bright with a giant toothy smile. “Naps are one of the most wonderful things in life, and I knew you’d appreciate them.”
He lowered himself, placing his body between my legs and his head on my chest, then he began caressing my breasts with his cheek. Oddly enough, it wasn’t sexual. More comforting. I let my fingers sink into his hair, combing them through his locks absently as I gazed up at the setting sun. I had no idea how long we’d been curled up in there, but I felt much more grounded than I had earlier.
“You have to meet Nine at some point, right?” I asked, remembering the man saying something along those lines.
Circus let out a heavy sigh. “Yes, I’m supposed to be down at the bar by six. How can I possibly be expected to work when I have you to snuggle with?”
Laughing softly, I tugged on his hair. “We can’t stay in bed all day. If we did, then our muscles would get weak, we would get fat and flabby, not to mention I feel like I’d get bored.”
His head popped up at that last comment, a frown on his face. “I would never let us get bored. My number one talent is always being able to find something fun and interesting to do.”
“How would you manage that if we stayed here all the time?” I questioned.
“Neko, I said I wanted to stay in bed, but I never said where the bed would be,” Circus scolded me. “Just think, we’ll put it on a trailer or the back of a truck and have someone drive us around to all kinds of different places. We could have picnics, explore the world around us, and never have to leave the comforts of this bed.”
