I shook my head. “I can’t.” I was already spent, collapsing onto the cushion in a heap of satisfaction and exhausted bliss.

“Yes. You can.” He slipped out and guided me onto my back. Grabbing one of the throw pillows, he placed it under my ass, raising my hips up off the couch. Stepping back between my legs, he slid back in. Spots appeared in the corners of my vision as the new position hit a whole new sensitive spot.

And it wasn’t long until I was clinging to Zack’s arms, crying out his name again.

“Fuck, baby.” He groaned as he leaned forward and continued to pump into me. “You feel so good. I don’t want to stop.”

I trailed my hands up the corded muscles of his biceps and over his chest, scraping my nails over his skin as I went. “I like making you feel good.”

His muscles twitched as I moved over his torso, around to his back. He smirked. “Got another one for me?”

My mouth dropped open, and I shook my head vehemently. “I’ll die.”

He chuckled. “I doubt that.”

“Well, I’m sure I wouldn’t be able to walk.”

“Let’s find out, shall we?”

“Fine. But you’re carrying me up to bed then.”

He laughed. “I think I can manage that.”

What the hell was he trying to do to me? Could I possibly come again? He seemed to like a challenge, and I rarely backed down from one either. So, I lost myself in the feel of him. His cock gliding steadily in and out. The sounds of our bodies moving together.

He picked me up and yanked the pillow out from underneath me, laying me flat on the sofa and stretching out on top of me. Bracing his weight on one forearm, he began moving again, his pelvis rubbing against my clit with each thrust.

I hooked my legs around his waist, pulling him in deeper.

He kissed my neck and then trailed up to my lips, muffling my moans.

I clung tight to him, holding on with every ounce of energy I had left. My walls clenched around him, and I felt the beginnings of another orgasm. Holy hell. How was that even possible?

“That’s it, baby. Come for me.”

His weight pressed me into the couch as he powered into me, and I shattered. In a way I’d never experienced before. He grunted and groaned low in his throat, and with one more powerful thrust, he exploded too. We held onto each other as we both struggled to get our breathing back under control.

Finally, he climbed off me, and the loss was visceral. I barely registered his command of, “I’ll be right back. Don’t move.”

Feeling completely exhausted, I let my eyelids drift shut. I stirred again as he picked me up, cradling me in both arms as he carried me out of the room.

After that, everything was a blur.

Until I woke in the middle of the night, still naked, and curled up along Zack’s body, my head on his chest. Feeling totally comfortable and still satiated, I closed my eyes and let myself fall back to sleep.

Chapter Twenty-Six

ZACK

Damn, this felt so right. Holding Mia like this had my chest squeezing tight with emotion. She was still pressed against my body, head on my chest. And I hadn’t stopped smiling since I woke up a little bit ago and found her still tucked into my side. She shifted, and with sleep-heavy eyes looked up at me.

“Look at that.” I brushed the hair away from her face. “All night. Naked and cuddling.”

Her lips twitched, but she didn’t reward me with her smile. “Don’t gloat,” she muttered instead.

Did she even know me? “I am so gloating.”

She rolled her eyes, and I half expected her to move off me, but she made no effort to get up. I ran my fingers through her hair, then smoothed my hand up and down her back, reveling in every second she’d give me like this.
