I jump up. What do I need to wear tonight? And what about PJs? I run to my room and shower with a quickness. I decide on wearing one of my new dresses. It's casual and red. Which is my favorite color. I straighten my hair and then put it in a messy ponytail.
I pack my clothes for tomorrow first. I will wear leggings and the football shirt Jaxon gave me. Panties and bras next. Then for PJs, I pack a pair of pink satin shorts and a baggy pink shirt that matches in my overnight bag. I had forgotten about it, thankful it still fits. I bought it the day before I moved to Texas at TJ Maxx. I hear a knock on my door and smile. I hope it's Jake. "Come in."
He opens the door and stays there for a long moment, staring at me. "What?" I ask nervously.
"Nothing. Red is just my favorite color, that’s all. You look stunning tonight."
"Thank you." I blush. "You know red is my favorite color, also."
He comes into my room and shuts the door. He saunters over to stand right in front of me. He takes his hand and moves some stray hair out of my eyes. I hold my breath. This boys got me captivated. He stares at my lips, then gazes deeply into my eyes.
My knees melt as I realize he's asking for my permission. He wants to kiss me. I nod my head yes. What else could I say? I've waited for this moment my whole life. He devours my full lips with his. After a couple of moments, he licks my bottom lip begging for access. I slightly part my lips, and his tongue conquers mine.
A boldness I've never felt before takes over my body. Our tongues wrestle for dominance, and when we come up for air, I suck on the bottom of his lower lip, and he lets out a soft moan. That kiss was everything and then some.
He smirks as we both gasp for air. "Wow. That was amazing." He looks at my bag and smiles. "You're staying?"
"I am. It is closer to Lit class. Simple geography, Jack. Or is it, Jake?"
He pops my butt and laughs. "It is just simple geography. As for Jack, I'll have you forgetting his name in no time."
I make a gurgling noise. Jake laughs so hard he almost stumbles. Butthead serves him right. He picks up my weekender bag and throws it over his shoulder. "Let's go, Georgia. I left Jaxon in charge of my secret sauce. It's probably burnt by now."
I grab Sasha, and we run out the door. I want to jump up and down and sing! I just had my first, not disgusting kiss. I try to tell her with my eyes, but that makes her ask me if I'm alright instead. I laugh and rub my eyes. What else can I do but act like an eyelash fell into it. Busted! I can't tell her about the kiss in front of Jake. I hope I was at least decent at kissing. He's still being affectionate and holding my hand so that's a good sign.
He pulls out of our parking lot and heads toward their house. I'm nervous but excited. I love that he is attentive and affectionate. He treats me like a Queen. I feel like he's already mine, but he's not. Will he ever want to be? And how long am I willing to wait for him to claim me?
Chapter 11
Dinner Party From Hell
Everything Fearless 24:7
An evening without any drama is like an Alpha Phi Alpha party without a keg. #NoFun #SorryMaryJ
We need the drama. In fact, we love it, and this is sure to be an evening to remember.
We cruise down Fraternity Row in his Chevy Silverado, speeding closer to their house. I'm still reeling from the kiss. Like, I might pass out. It was just that epic. Do we still say epic for amazing things? I was never popular, so I don't know. It seems an appropriate enough word. I'm spinning out of control.
He's holding my hand, and I can think of little else. This skin-on-skin contact is killing me. His hand is rough and calloused and I blush when I think of how his rough hands would feel in certain places, especially on my soft skin—arousal clenches throughout my body. I've never felt like this, and it's as if my body has finally awakened after eighteen long years. I'm finally a hormonal teenager, and I'm not 100% sure that's a good thing. If Sasha weren’t in here, I'm not sure I could stop from jumping his bones. What the hell, Dani?! Contain yourself.
I squeeze my thighs together to try and diminish the feeling. I inhale sharply. Geez, Louise! That had the opposite effect. I quickly separate my thick thighs as best I can. I can't have them touching. If only I had a thigh gap, but instead, here I am, a mermaid! Jake looks down at my legs, and a look of surprise grows firmly into his expression. He clears his throat and starts rubbing my palm with his middle finger.
Kill me now! Does he know I'm horny? I feel like my inexperience is showing. He, on the other hand, is very experienced. Our holding hands and the wonderful kiss we shared probably had little to no effect on him, and I'm over here with a fire raging in my who-ha. Does he even have the ac turned on? I'm dying. I give him a once over with the side of my eye. He's grinning to himself, and he's breathing just fine. He’s the worst. If I start sweating, I'm going home. Bye.
I turn around to look at Sasha in the back seat. Thankfully, she's been oblivious to my raging hormones. I hope Jake is, too! How embarrassing?!! Sasha is deep in her phone...is it the new guy?? "Why are you smiling that big, Sasha?"
She looks up from her phone and flips me off. "Oh, you know, a little of this, a little of that."
"Yup. Uh-huh." I give her a wink, but she doesn't even notice, she's buried her face back in her phone already.
I turn around and look at Jake and he's smiling at me. "Do you smile like that when I'm texting you?"
I giggle. "Nope. I only smile like that when Aaron Rogers texts me."
He almost runs us off the road, and I laugh until my sides hurt. "Really? Georgia. Really? That burns."
I shrug my shoulders. "If you know, you know!"
