For once, it seems like luck is in my favor. We arrive at the house without an incident. It irritates me more that this somehow proves their point. I can ride in the backseat of a car without having a panic attack as long as I am not blackout drunk. At least that solves one of the problems.

Gavin put the car in park before shutting off the engine. We all pile out of the car; Gavin beats us to the door, unlocking it and heading inside first. I am dragging my feet as Atlas waits at the door for me. By the time I make it inside, Gavin has already disappeared again. I go to head to our room, but Atlas stops me in my tracks. He pulls me to him, placing a soft kiss on my lips, whispering against them. “Hey, are you okay?”

“Yeah, just fine.” I say the words, but they lack any real conviction.

“You need to get out of your own head. Do you want a distraction?”

My mood does a complete one-eighty at the sultry tone of his voice. This is exactly what I need right now.

“I like the sound of that. What’s the plan?”

“You have been pushing my buttons on purpose lately. Did you think I forgot how you acted all day?”

“That was the idea, Sir.” I bat my lashes at him before sticking my tongue out at him and laughing.

“Well, you thought wrong. Get on the couch, Chaos.”

I plop down on the couch in a huff, crossing my legs as I do. My attitude is very much present.

“Tsk.Tsk. That just won't do. On your knees, facing the back of the couch.”

“Why would I do that?”

“Why don't you do it and find out?”

I roll my eyes but give in anyway. I rise to my knees before turning to face the back of the couch.

“Did you just roll your eyes at me?”

Shit. I didn’t exactly mean to. Oh well.

I shake my head no. I am not admitting to that.

“Rolling your eyes and then lying about it. Are we feeling a bit reckless?”

“Always.”

“Well, I do have a fix for one of those problems… You seem to be fond of blindfolds. I figured it's only fair if you wear one this time.”

He pulls a blindfold from his back pocket, showing it to me before securing it around my eyes.

“Where the hell did the blindfold come from? Did you make it magically spawn into your pocket?”

“Very funny. No, it didn’t magically show up. I just assumed you would be a brat tonight and brought it with me. Be glad I waited until we got home to put it on you.” There is no trace of amusement in his tone.

Not being able to see seems to heighten my other senses. Something cold runs across my wrist, and I jump at the sensation.

“I happened to have something else in my pocket all night as well. You remember the handcuffs you put on Gavin the other day, right? Do you feel like wearing them for me tonight?”

I nod my head yes.

“Actual words, please.”

“Yes, Sir.” The words come out breathy. Heat begins to pool low in my stomach at the idea of being handcuffed and blindfolded for him. He pulls both of my wrists to the small of my back, forcing me to rest my chest against the back of the couch. He cuffs one wrist at a time. The cold metal biting into my sensitive skin.

Atlas flips my skirt up, running his hands up the outside of my thighs before grabbing my knife from where it was clipped to the right side of my panties. Just because Trevor is gone doesn’t mean I no longer need to carry one. If anything, it only proves that I should always have it on me in case I am ever put in a situation like that again. I hear the distinct click of the blade flipping into place before my panties are cut free from my body. A gasp tears from my lips when he does it.

“Mhmm. That's better. Safe word?”
