"Such a good girl," Maddy moans in my ear, punctuating his statement with a firm bite against my earlobe.

"Come on Koa's face, right fucking now," Parker grits out, and like the good girl Maddy thinks I am, I listen.

Parker keeps his cock in my mouth as waves and waves of pleasure rip through me. If I weren't completely boneless, I might do more than gag on the thick intrusion. As my sensitivity ramps up to Koa's slurping licks, Parker finally pulls back, dick still hard, allowing me to heave lungfuls of air. I swear I almost blacked the fuck out.

Ripley moans, petting my bare chest. "Damn, Kitty."

"You did so good, baby." Koa peppers my thighs and knees with kisses.

"Perfect," Maddy and Parker mutter at the same time.

Completely wrung out between the four of them, I slowly come back to the real world where I remember all the shit that just went down. What a mess. I hate feeling like I'm at fault when my mind says hell no. They kept shit from me. But I never asked the important questions.

"Fuck, why is she crying?" Ripley sounds scared, drawing a small laugh out of me again. Turning my blurry attention to him, I smile at his wide-eyed stare.

"I just feel guilty, my love."

Like every other time I call Ripley that, he turns into a puddle of goo. Slumping forward, he lays his head on my stomach and gazes up at me like I hung the moon.

"I think we all feel guilty," Maddy comments, running his hands through my hair like I'm doing with Ripley. "Now let's talk, because I definitely got distracted."

The energy in the room charges in the opposite direction. I want someone's dick in me, not a heart-to-heart. The easier, sexier route will do less damage to my feelings.

"We're all madly in love with you, Cassidy," Maddy proclaims, hearts in his eyes as he stares down at me.

Ripley goes next, adding on to Maddy's statement with the reminder that he's been stalking me. "I’ve loved you since the moment I laid eyes on you seven years ago. You were skipping down the street into the tattoo shop after Maddox spent the night for the first time."

"You posted a photo on Instagram around the same time. Your hair blended in with the sunset and your smile..." Koa trails off, with a sweet smile. "I loved you then, and I love you now."

The silence is deafening. All of us bite our tongues for the last man to say he feels the same. As the clock ticks by, I have to accept that he might not be there yet.

Can Parker ever love me?

Chapter Twenty-Nine

Cassie

If Parker doesn't feel the same way, it's okay. I know it's not outright rejection, but that doesn't mean I can have this conversation lying down with my tits out.

Nudging Ripley off me, I ignore his grumbled protest and climb so I'm sitting on my knees. Shirt in place, I study the tense expression on my blond biker's face.

Parker looks particularly uncomfortable and stressed. This is the last thing I want for any of us. Pressure to feel more than we are or push ourselves past what's comfortable is not what relationships are built on.

I fear he's moments away from telling me he loves me only because he feels like he needs to. His emotional struggles stem not from trust issues or being hurt in the past, but because he loves so fiercely that something bad happening could break him.

That is a characteristic of a man who truly shouldn't be forced into something so monumental if he's not ready. Resentment has no place in a healthy relationship.

As badly as I wish to touch him, I keep my hands to myself. Not only is he emotionally vulnerable, but his dick is still out. "Parker, you don't have to—"

"Do you remember that night in the kitchen?" Parker murmurs, staring at the wall now. "You told me you were happy. That you were feeling like you were close to living your dream. Did you mean that?"

Gulping, I fidget, remembering that odd conversation. That was the first time I got a glimpse of the real Parker. "Yes. I meant it."

"Instead of asking about your dream, I told you about my nightmares." His chuckle is humorless. "And do you remember what you said?" I frown, trying to recall the specifics, but he continues on a roll now. "You flipped my script effortlessly. When I told you my greatest fear, you heard my dreams."

"Your dream, one of the things that matters most to you is ensuring your loved ones are safe and live full lives."

"Of course I responded like an ass, yet you wanted to know what makes me happy because your happiness confused me that night."
