“Yeah, he wants me to learn who tried to kill him and who could have killed Raymond and me.”

“Well, you know you have my help if you need it.”

“Thanks, Lucy.” Sascha moved around the back of her booth so she could sit and give readings. She held her hand out to Gregory for the tickets.

He handed her some. “Tell me anything you can see in my future.”

“I’m coming home with you after the fair so that I can help find your attempted murderer.”

He gave her a small smile. “Something I don’t know.”

“Stephanie will be at your house to hassle me.”

“No way.”

“Yep. Just you watch.” Sascha envisioned Stephanie stomping through his house on her six-inch heels, looking like she was going to break her neck if she fell off them.

“Don’t you dare call her and invite her to the house.”

Sascha laughed. “Like I would. She’s definitely not on my friends list. You know, she’s planning on marrying you now that Prescott is unavailable. For whatever reason, she’s not interested in Damon.”

Lucy was talking to a customer who wanted to hear from a friend who died in a car accident, but as soon as Sascha mentioned Damon’s name, Lucy glanced at her.

Sascha swore she had the best hearing in the world. “I was telling Gregory that Stephanie, who is now after Gregory, isn’t interested in Damon.”

“Okay,” Lucy said telepathically to her and continued talking to her customer.

Kat was offering a future vision for a different customer.

“I’ll come and get you when the fair’s closing,” Gregory said, taking Sascha’s hand and kissing it. “I’ll see you later.”

Then he walked off, and she just stared after him.

Prescott said, “And he wondered how Kat cast a spell over me.”

Sascha laughed. “The same thing isn’t happening between Gregory and me. He just wants help to try and figure out who’s gunning for him.” Then she turned her attention to her next customer. “You want to know if you’re going to get pregnant any time soon.” Sascha smiled. “You are. The baby girl will be due in May.”

The woman held her stomach, burst into tears, and hurried off.

Sascha couldn’t keep her mouth from dropping wide open.

Smiling, Prescott said, “I guess that wasn’t the news she was waiting to hear.”

“After she tore off, I saw a glimpse of her relationship with her boyfriend, and he just broke up with her.”

“Oh, that’s awful.”

“Maybe, but maybe he wasn’t the right one for her anyway.” Then Sascha smiled at her next customer. “You would like a reading?”

“You just gave a reading to my ex-girlfriend, and she was crying. What did you tell her?” The boyfriend looked upset and concerned at the same time.

“She’s going to have your baby in May.”

The guy’s jaw dropped, and he said, “Shit.” Then he hurried after his ex-girlfriend.

“How’s that going to end?” Prescott asked.

“I have no idea.” Which was true. Sascha only saw bits and pieces of the past and the future. Then she smiled at the next customer. “Are you ready to get a reading?”
