“So, what are you going to wear for the wedding?” Gregory asked.

“You’re not supposed to ask that.”

He laughed. “I know you love colorful clothes. I was just curious.”

“You will have to wait and see.” But yeah, she planned to wear something colorful.

After they finished dinner, he paid for their meals, then reached out his hand. “I’m sorry. I should have asked—”

“Will you marry me?” Sascha asked instead, taking his hand.

He smiled, took hold of her hand, pulled her from her chair, and pulled her into a hug. “Hell, yeah.” Then he kissed her, glanced at the bodyguards, and saw they were done eating. “Let’s go home and celebrate some more.”

“I thought you would never ask.”

Then they left the restaurant and headed home, the bodyguards following behind them.

When they arrived home, Gregory hurried Sascha to the stairs. But before they made it up the stairs, Gregory’s hands were on Sascha’s face, kissing her mouth, eager to go all the way before either of them had even ascended the first stair. By the time they reached the bedroom, both his sports coat and her blouse were already on the floor, one trailing the other.

He moved her into the room and shut the door. Then he and she grabbed each other and fell on the soft mattress, kissing each other with unrestrained need. She worked on his belt, then unfastened his zipper as he toed off his dress shoes, which fell to the floor.

She did the same with her sandals, rubbing her leg over his, her skirt draped over his trouser leg. She reached up and unbuttoned his top shirt button. He ran his fingers through her silky curly strands of red hair as she moved to the second button. Trying to keep his mind on anything other than the tightening of his shorts, he leaned over and kissed her forehead. That didn’t help either.

He just wanted to rip off his shirt and the rest of his clothes and hers, but he was trying to enjoy every single tender moment.

Every button she touched sent adrenaline surging through his body. When she reached the last button exposed above his trousers’ waistband, he reached for the tail of his shirt to pull it out, but she stilled his hands.

She pulled the shirt from his trousers, then finished unbuttoning it. He smiled. She’d wanted to do it.

For a second, she considered his chest as she traced the contours of his muscles, then leaned over and kissed it. He closed his eyes. He promised he would take this as slowly as she wanted to, but she wasn’t helping him to keep his promise.

She yanked his shirt off his shoulders. Then Sascha’s lips found Gregory’s jaw, the stubble sharp against her mouth, and Gregory’s arms closed around her, pinning her in a grip both fierce and tender. They fumbled, laughed, and then let the laughter turn to something deeper, a shared gasp, as she pulled down his pants and he removed her skirt.

Their legs tangled as she slipped her hand into his boxer briefs and felt how hard he was. His arousal jumped at her touch. She smiled, licked her lips, and kissed his mouth again. He reached behind her, unfastened her bra, slid the straps off her shoulders, and tossed it onto the carpeted floor.

His boxer briefs and socks were next, then he slid down her bikini panties. Knees and elbows rearranged themselves into a single body, limbs tangled in the sheets that had, just moments earlier, been neatly made.

They rolled, Sascha on top, then Gregory, and then neither, both refusing to dominate but frantic not to let go, and the room filled with their desperate need. Skin to skin, heat expanding, he began coaxing her feminine bud, intent on making her come.

He was so glad she was his soulmate, and they could do this, though he was just glad he could share his life with her.

She was groaning, and he could tell she was about to come as he kissed her nipples, licking them, and then kissed her mouth.

Breathlessly, she cried out. “Ohmigod, yes!” She pulled at him to join her.

He was glad she was so enthusiastic, but it seemed to be more than that, and he wondered what was up until he began thrusting into her, and nothing else was on his mind but completing what they had started. She was so hot, fiery, and they fit perfectly.

He had never experienced such exhilaration while making love, and he realized just what Sascha had meant about being soulmates. They were. She was definitely Sascha the Sensation. His sensation.

He came in an explosive way and pumped into her until he was done, feeling satisfied and blissful. She smiled up at him, her hands caressing his neck. “Good, huh?”

“Yeah, for sure.”

And then he collapsed on her and just held her tight, kissing her neck, her cheek, her mouth. He knew it would be unbelievably good, even before he made love to her. He knew it would be before he knew they were soulmates. She was just amazing.

“So are you.”

Afterward, they lay breathless, cuddling, staring at the ceiling. “I love you,” she said to him telepathically.
