He’s quiet for a long moment. “No. I don’t have any.” I might not have known Dante for long but I can tell he’s lying. He hesitated too long and he’s not the kind of man who hesitates.

“Why are you torturing me? Your anger is with Gabriel. Not me.”

“I know. But you were more fun to take. To torture.”

“And now? Is it still fun for you? Knowing you hurt me every day you keep me here?”

He finally turns to face me and I see a wild look in his eyes. “You do ask a lot of questions. I never expected that from you. But then again, there’s a lot of things I never expected from you.”

“Please,” I whisper. “Dante. Just… please.”

He shuts his eyes for a second before opening them again. There’s an even more hardened look to them. “I am not letting you go, Sienna. You are my prisoner. I get to torture you how I want. There’s no space for feelings here. There’s no love here and there never will be.” He leaves the room and shuts the door behind him but I notice he doesn’t lock it.

He knows I won’t run. Not when my mom’s life is on the line.

But in this moment, I’m tempted to leave and never see Dante again.

While another part of my heart feels like it’s breaking at the thought of never seeing Dante again.

Chapter Fifteen

Dante

The last thing I can do is care for Sienna.

What I need to do instead is humiliate her. Get her out of my system. Remove her from my being.

By doing that, I’m going to throw another party.

I invite over the same guests, sans Edward since he’s dead. I had the body cleaned up so no one even knows I’m the one who did it. Most people think that Edward died in a car crash because that’s what I made it look like.

I stand outside Sienna’s door with another evening gown draped over my arms. She has no idea what I have planned for her this evening. A tingle runs down my spine. Excitement but also… dread.

Why the hell should I feel dread? I’ve caused chaos for most of my life. One girl shouldn’t matter to me. None of this should matter.

Taking a deep breath, I knock on the door. It’s the first time I’ve done it. Respecting Sienna’s space. That’s the last thing I should be doing. With a roll of my eyes, I open the door, not waiting for her answer.

She’s in the shower. I realize it after I hear the sound of the water running.

I go into the bathroom and watch her. Sienna’s creamy skin under the spray of the water makes her look more like a magical mermaid than a real woman. Why does she have to be so fucking pretty? It would be easier to do the things I wanted to do to her if I hated the sight of her.

But the problem is I don’t hate her.

And I can’t let that stand.

She gasps when she turns around and sees me watching her. No longer a shy virgin. She doesn’t hide her body from me. Sienna has fully embraced her sexuality. The sexuality I have brought out in her. The woman she has become.

“Touch your breasts,” I order.

She remains quiet as she does as I say. Her small hands frame her breasts beautifully. I know that my own hands would be much larger on her breasts. More consuming. I want nothing more than to touch her but I hold it back. Right now isn’t the time.

“Put your finger inside of you,” I say next.

Sienna lowers her hand between her legs. Her lips part when she slips her finger into herself.

“Move it in and out.”

Once again, she does what I say without any complaint.
