His groan sends a bolt of heat straight between my legs. I spread my thighs wider, let my fingers dip between them.
“Pinch your nipples first,” he rasps. “Hard.”
I do, gasping at the sting, the pleasure that follows. His eyes lock onto mine as I roll them between my fingers, arching into my own touch.
“Now your clit. Slow circles.”
I whimper, dragging my fingertips through slick heat. My hips jerk.
“Pretend it’s me,” he growls. “My fingers, my mouth.”
The image burns through me—Maddox between my legs, his stubble scraping my thighs, his tongue—
“Fuck!” My back bows off the couch as I plunge two fingers inside, curling them just right.
“That’s it,” he grits out, his free hand undoing his belt now, shoving his jeans down. “Come for me.”
I watch him stroke himself, thick and flushed, and it’s too much—the sight, the sound of his ragged breathing, the way he’s looking at me like I’m everything.
“Maddox—”
“Say my name when you come.”
I spiral fast, my fingers frantic, my other hand pinching a nipple. “Maddox—!”
His groan tears from his throat as I shatter, screaming his name, thighs trembling. He follows with a curse, his release streaking his stomach as he growls mine.
Panting, spent, I slump against the cushions. He’s still watching me, chest heaving.
“I wish you were here,” I whisper. “Wish you could rub your come all over me like last time.”
He barks a laugh, rough and breathless. “Fuck, Harper. You’re going to kill me talking like that.”
I smile, limp and sated. His gaze softens, something deeper than lust passing between us—something that makes my chest ache.
“Goodnight,” he murmurs. “I’ll be back soon.”
I blow him a kiss before the screen goes dark.
Alone now, I pull my shorts and bra back on, scooping my top from the floor. The kitchen light spills into the hallway.
Killian turns the second I step in, his arms opening before I reach him. He pulls me flush against his chest, his lips warm and possessive against mine. When he breaks away, Asher is there, kissing me slow, sweet, his hands framing my face.
Killian scoops me up suddenly, making me laugh as my feet leave the ground. Asher trails behind, grinning, a bowl of strawberries in hand.
“Bed,” Killian declares.
Asher pops a berry into my mouth as we head down the hall. The juice bursts tart and sweet on my tongue.
Missing Maddox aches, but like this—wrapped in them, loved by them—the absence doesn’t feel so bad.

HARPER
Between the amazing times with Asher and Killian, and missing Maddox, work is always a nice breather for me to shift focus. Mallory left Thursday for a family function in Lyon and handed me her clipboard with the specific expression of a woman who trusts the person she’s leaving it with and is still slightly concerned about leaving it. I told her to go, I had it covered, enjoy the weekend. She went. I have the clipboard.
This morning that means the great hall walkthrough for the midsummer event setup falls to me, Odette Girard from venue operations, and Raphael, who is the in-house contracted DJ for the estate’s special events and has been in a very good mood all week for reasons he hasn’t explained and that I haven’t pushed on because I have my own reasons I’m not explaining to anyone.
