Her words unravel me; I can’t hold back. I slam deep into her, right up to the hilt. She cries out as I pump deep inside her, cumming so hard I see stars. My cock slowly starts to soften, and I pull out. As I watch my seed spilling down her thighs, I realize we were so caught up that we forgot to use a condom. I’ll have to check if she went on birth control or if we need to go to the clinic for the morning-after pill. But not now. I curse myself for my carelessness, for my lack of control.

Yet I still don’t regret it.

“That was fucking incredible,” I pant as she shakily stands, pulling her into an embrace and kissing her gently.

“Mmm,” she says dreamily, eyes closed, still blissed out post-orgasm.

“Was I too rough?” I ask, worried when I see her wince as she pulls her panties back on.

She shakes her head. “No. I mean, it was, but I liked it.”

“Good,” I say, pulling her into my arms again. “Because you’re mine now, baby girl. Only mine,” I grunt possessively. There’s no way I can stay away from her after that.

“What about Flint and Cyrus?” she asks tentatively.

I bristle a little, annoyed that she’s even bringing them up. Is it because she’s worried about it hurting our friendship? Or is it because she wants them too? Is being only mine not good enough? I don’t want to think about that right now.

“Don’t worry about them. You’re mine now, that’s all that matters,” I reply, kissing her again.

Now that I have her, I’m not giving her up. I don’t care about the cost. Tori is worth it.

She’s mine.

Chapter 12

Cyrus

Tori and Hunter think they’re being subtle, that it isn’t obvious that they had sex again. They’re wrong.

I know the moment I open the garage door and find them both cleaning the bikes that if I’d arrived ten minutes earlier, I’d have caught them in the act. The room stinks of sex, and they both have that flushed, just fucked look. Hunter grins at me triumphantly. He might as well have cocked his leg and pissed like a dog marking his territory.

“Morning,” Hunter says merrily, draping a casual arm around Tori’s shoulder. Her cheeks flush, a mixture of guilt and pride on her face.

“You two are up early,” I reply, almost accusatorily.

As usual, Tori rushes to Hunter’s defense. “I woke up early and came down here to wash the bikes. I know you guys said they needed it, but you never have time. Hunter woke early, too, and when he found me in here, he offered to help.”

I believe Tori, that’s why she came down here. She’s the sort of person who does kind, selfless things like that. The gesture touches me. But I know that it’s BS that Hunter offered to help. I wouldn’t be surprised if he heard her get up and followed her to make a move while we were sleeping. Or at the very least, he offered to help after seducing her. Not that I can blame him. She looks crazy hot, like something out of a fantasy. Jealousy flares within me that Hunter broke our pact and got to her first. If she were fair game, I would have at least liked the opportunity to make my feelings known before he claimed her as his.

“I’m sure he did,” I reply dryly, cocking an eyebrow.

“I came down planning on going for an early morning ride and found Tori. Obviously, the gentleman that I am, I offered my assistance,” Hunter replies smoothly. He’s enjoying how blatant it is that they’ve hooked up again, rubbing my face in it. It’s not like him to be cruel.

“Well, it looks like you’ve almost finished. Why don’t you go for your bike ride now? I’ll help Tori finish, it’s my bike after all,” I suggest, nodding my head at my bike, which is still dirty. Hunter and Bikes are gleaming. Regardless of their weak excuse, they’ve done a good job.

The look on Hunter’s face is priceless. He knows if he refuses, he’s not only admitting that he broke his word again but also that he’s lying about why he came down here. The muscle in his jaw twitches as he tries to think of a good excuse to say no.

“Yes, you should go, Hunter,” Tori encourages him, placing a hand on his chest. The gesture is familiar and intimate, the kind of thing a girlfriend would do. I push down the envy that rises in my throat like bile and look away.

Disappointed yet smug, Hunter concedes. “Alright, if you’re sure. Maybe you could come with me? I’d happily give you a ride on my chopper,” he says with a wink.

I grimace at his innuendo, but Tori laughs, slapping his arm playfully. “You’re terrible. And I’m not reckless enough to go on the back of your bike, I’ve seen the way you ride.”

Hunter chuckles, but I can tell he’s a little wounded that she’s turned him down. I know that to him, it might feel like she’s choosing me over him. I try not to let myself think that; it’s that sort of thinking that drove a wedge between us with Bella.

With Hunter gone, it’s momentarily awkward between Tori and me. I get the impression she’s thinking about explaining herself, or maybe trying to deny that anything happened between them, despite the evidence to the contrary. I pick up a sponge and start to work. We clean the bike in silence, but it isn’t awkward, at least not to me.

“Thanks, by the way, for doing this. You didn’t have to,” I say, finally breaking the silence that had become tense and heavy.
