Still, I say, “Okay, Damien. Give me a minute.”

I pause just as Lia starts bucking uncontrollably, and this time, she’s so frustrated she forgets about the phone call altogether and wails out.

“Logan!” she practically shrieks. “Please, please, please… don’t stop!”

I pull out my fingers with a wet plop. “Don’t stop? Are you sure that’s what you want? Fine, I guess I’ll… do that.”

“Oh, come on,” Damien’s voice comes from the other end of the line. “There’s a time and place for everything, man.”

I start pulling Lia’s panties back up, and she lets out a string of curses. “I mean… I mean… stop! Stop!”

“Okay,” says Damien as I stuff my wet fingers back inside her. “Maybe I’ll let you finish… that… before I tell you the really important shit.”

“Why are you calling me?” I ask, fucking into her so hard she starts crying again. “Can’t you deal with business on your own?”

“Well… yes. But I do need to tell you some shit.”

“Fine.” I’m still determined to draw it out a little longer with Lia. What’s the fun in it if we get to the pleasure part too quickly? If it were up to me, I’d spend the rest of the day edging her. But I do need to work. And apparently, hear about my girl’s dead father from Damien.

“Please, Logan…” Lia groans as I still inside her again.

With Damien clicking his tongue in impatience on the other end of the line, I finally relent, giving her the few thrusts she needs to drive her over the top.

“Loga-a-an…”

Then she gets on her hands and knees, crawling over the bed toward me, and rubs her face against my rock-hard cock.

“Let me return the favor, Logan,” she breathes.

Fuck. At any other time, I’m pretty sure my cock would burst at those words. But I can hear Damien swearing on the other end of the line. And I guess he’s right to be pissed.

“In a minute, baby.”

I kiss her on the nose then cross the room, stopping by the front door, where I’m sure she can’t hear me. She lies back against the pillow, wincing. I have been fingering her hard, and she’s probably feeling pretty raw.

“Yeah, man?”

“Alright, you filthy animal. We’ve been digging, as I said, and we found out more about the Puicin Gang’s Modus Operandi. That means their way of working, you uneducated bastard.”

“Listen, man, it’s eight a.m., and I have another hour before I need to go to work. So can I spend that time—”

“No. We know a bit more about Emilio Cabello’s debt. It’s not owed to the whole gang. That’s not how they function. The gang is made up of a lot of small groups. All those bikers who’ve been chasing Lia answer to one guy. His name is Archie Belkins, which is a really fucking ugly name, by the way. He’s the guy Emilio Cabello was supposed to pay for protection from you. And when he didn’t pay up, our friend Archie took Jane and promised to return eighteen years later. So yeah, that’s what happened,” he concludes. “Eighteen years ago, Emilio Cabello sacrificed his own granddaughter to save himself.”

I lean against the door, suddenly feeling cold.

“Okay,” I say quietly.

I glance back at Lia, but she’s lying back on the bed, half passed out after our morning torture session, and she’s clearly not paying attention.

“Emilio Cabello owed a debt,” reiterates Damien. “He’s dead now, but that debt still exists. It’s only a matter of time before Archie Belkins tries once more to collect it... and I have a feeling he isn’t planning to leave the task to his minions anymore.”

“Let’s get you into that dress.”

It’s the day of the gala and I’m a nervous wreck, but the last thing I want to do is admit it to Logan.
