Maybe I could rectify that. Even if Simmons isn’t here tonight, there have to be plenty of guys like him that are looking for a boy. I might want nothing sexual with them, but maybe I could get them to give me a little pain.
I see a guy, head to toe in tattoos, making his way over to the bar, and I lick my lips as he approaches where I’m standing and orders two bottles of water. He’s wearing leather trousers and boots. Ink covers his bare torso, and little black barbells pierce his nipples. I wonder if he likes them being played with. Maybe he enjoys them being pulled and twisted to the point of pain.
“Hey, you’re new.” I look from his chest to his face and see him smiling at me. I shamelessly take one more look at his nipples before looking back at him and returning the smile.
“Hey yourself. I am new,” I smirk as I respond. Maybe this guy can tan my hide if I play my cards right.
“Enjoying it?”
“So far. Could be enjoying myself more though,” I playfully reply as I sip my drink and look at him again through my lashes.
“Well, why don’t I introduce you to my friend? He’s all alone tonight and could use some cheering up,” he shouts over the music, despite being close enough for us to touch.
“Maybe I was after a good time with his friend instead,” I flirt. He throws his head back in laughter.
“You’re definitely his type. C’mon, I promise you’ll like what you see,” he tells me as he grabs the bottled water that’s now placed on the bar in front of him. Fuck it, why not. His friend better be hot though, because this guy is hot as sin.
“Freddie,” I shout in his ear as we weave through the throng of hot, dancing bodies to the other side where the booths sit. I notice as we get closer that there are quite a few subs on leashes sitting by their owners’ feet. Some are performing oral but others are just sitting quietly, eyes closed, enjoying their master’s company.
“I know who you are Freddie, I’m Arnie,” he winks then turns back to where we have stopped.
Confused how this guy knows me, I try to think if Burt mentioned maybe a worker that would know me or find me when I got here, but nothing is coming to mind. I shake off the thought for now and give my attention to Arnie, who is sliding into the booth opposite a guy who must be the friend. I step closer and step up onto the platform the booths are on.
“Hey, I’m Freddie,” I tell the stranger, but that’s when I finally see who Arnie’s friend is.
Motherfucker.
Chapter 26
Freddie
“Freddie. What are you doing here?” Simmons asks me, his jaw set firm, and if looks could kill, then the coroner would be on his way for me.
“Simmons, oh my! Arnie, you naughty man, I didn’t think Simmons had any friends,” I say through gritted teeth as I apply the best smile I can. Damn, I wanted to find him on my own. Spy on him a little and give myself time to adjust to seeing him before I approached him. Fucking fuck fuck. Okay, calm your tits, Freddie, just do what you do best.
“I didn’t think Simmons would mind me bringing you over since you’re already acquainted,” his friend tells me, but his eyes remain on Simmons, who seems to finally have shaken off his frozen stupor.
“Not at all. Are you enjoying the club? I didn’t realise you were looking to join. Or that you were even still living in the city,” he tells me as he tries to keep his face passive, but I see through his shit. He wants to know why I didn’t keep my arse back home. Why, of all the gin joints, I’m in his?
“Well, I was home seeing my Ma and Da for a while, then it was back home since I own an apartment here and I work here and volunteer here. So when Burt offered me a year membership, I just couldn’t say no. How have I lived here so long and didn’t know how many delicious Dom’s were roaming about. I feel spoiled for choice.” Simmons studies me, and I swear his eye twitches before he seems to check me over and finally notice what I’m wearing.
“Yeah, well, that’s good for you. I’m sure you’ll have a queue of them once they’ve seen you wearing that.”
I fake a pout and narrow my eyes. “But not you, though, hmm, Simmons? I’m not your type of sub. What exactly is your type? Ones that don’t mind you fucking off whenever you feel like it because you can’t control them?” I grin, cocking my head in innocence, knowing I’m probably hitting a nerve, but honestly, fuck this guy. He’s sitting there acting civil as if we don’t have a history.
“Looks like I’m needed with a cane. See ya. Freddie, super glad we finally met, and Simmons, call me,” Arnie winks at me, knowing his plan for his friend has worked.
“Lovely meeting you, Arnie. I’ll be sure to find you next time for some fun,” I tease with a wave back, and then he’s disappeared into the crowds, and it’s just me and the grumpy honey bear. I slide into the seat that Arnie’s just vacated.
“Why are you really here, Freddie? Were you looking for me?” Simmons asks. He looks kinda sad now that his friend has left, but I shake off feeling bad about accosting him like this. I want answers.
“You know, I came here to make you jealous. I’m wearing this little number because it’s the one I was going to wear that night in the hotel for you. I’ve pursued you quite a bit, wouldn’t you say? Maybe I came here to finally get some closure and find someone who actually wants what I’m offering.
There, honesty. I don’t want to play games with Simmons because I truly feel that meeting outside of this world first meant something. I just hope it’s not one-sided.
“I appreciate your honesty, Freddie. But I wasn’t trying to hurt your feelings when I didn’t contact you. You’re one day going to leave here and go home. I don’t see the point in forming anything more if it won’t have a future. I’m too old for anything other than this,” he waves his hand around the room.
So, he’s okay with a D/s dynamic but not a relationship? Would I even want that? A contract of set days and scenes with an expiry date? No emotions, no attachments. Just a Dom and a sub with all the thrill and zero depth.
