Sea Whisper continued west beneath another brilliant blue sky.

Frank and Rose were relaxed.

The bachelor party looked relaxed, laughing about something Scott said.

My sisters all smiled.

Anyone watching from a distance would think we were enjoying another perfect day at sea.

Only a handful of us knew better.

I stood on the bridge studying the radar.

Nothing.

No fast contact.

The trawler remained several miles astern.

Steady.

Patient.
