I'd never understood the difference.

The bridge fell silent.

No one spoke.

No one moved.

The only sound was the steady hum of Sea Whisper's engines cutting through the Pacific.

Nathan never took his eyes off the radar.

His weathered face had gone almost colorless.

Ben stepped beside him.

"What is she?"

Nathan answered without hesitation.

"Trouble."

Ward studied the screen.

The vessel moved steadily across our course.

Not fast.

Not aggressively.

Almost...

Patiently.

Scott leaned over the chart display.

"Fishing vessel?"

Nathan shook his head.

"No."

"Cargo?"

"No."

"Cruise ship?"

Nathan's jaw tightened.

"Worse."

Scott blinked.
