"I've spent years trying to protect them."
Ben rested his forearms on the rail beside her.
"And they've spent years protecting you."

The older man lowered his binoculars.
"They've figured it out."
The younger man frowned.
"Does that change anything?"
The older man smiled.
"No."
He looked toward the elegant white yacht.
"It just means the game has begun."
