“Why the fuck does it matter?”
“It don’t.”
“Exactly.”
She sighed. “Aight. I know somewhere.”
“Send me the address.”
“I will.”
“And Alexia?”
“What?”
“Don’t have me waiting on your ass.”
She laughed. “Girl, bye.”
The call ended, and I slowly lowered my phone.
The second her name disappeared from my screen, the bit of calm I’d been holding onto went right along with it.
“Fake-ass bitch.”
I tossed my phone onto the couch and started pacing again.
Everything Amani had just told me kept replaying in my head. The pictures. The blogs. Him and Alexia fucking around behind my back.
And now this bitch was staying with Marissa?
Nawl.
There were too many pieces falling into place at the same damn time.
My phone buzzed.
I snatched it up. Alexia had sent me the location, and I stared at the message before taking a screenshot.
Then, I backed out of our messages and went straight to Drayla’s name.
She answered on the second ring.
“Girl, what’s up?”
“You busy?”
“Depends. Why you sound like that?”
“Because I need you to come get me.”
A brief silence followed.
“Sianni…”
“I’m serious.”
“What happened?”
