“Yes!”
“Damn, ma, I ain’t even—”
“Yes, Kyrie!”
He started laughing as he stood up.
I threw my arms around his neck before he could say anything else.
“You so damn stupid.”
“And you said yes.”
“Because I love your stupid ass.”
“That's all I needed to hear.”
His arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me closer.
“I love you too, beautiful.”
I pulled back enough to look at him. “You really proposed to your own wife.”
“Hell yeah.”
“You are so damn backwards.”
“And your ass still said yes.”
“I did.”
“So, what that tell you?”
“That I might be just as crazy as you.”
“Exactly.”
I laughed and wrapped my arms around his neck again.
Kyrie leaned down and kissed me while everybody around us cheered.
I kissed him right back, not giving a damn about the phones, the people watching, or anything else going on around us.
This man had really proposed to me when we were already fucking married.
Only Kyrie.
But as crazy as his ass was, I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.
When we first got married, neither of us expected this shit to turn into what it did. I damn sure didn’t expect to fall in love with him.
Yet here we were.
Still married.
Actually in love.
With our baby on the way.
