“I know.”

I leaned down and kissed her, swallowing her moans as she fell apart again, her body trembling beneath mine.

That was all it took.

I followed her over the edge, my grip on her hips tightening as I buried myself as deep as I could go. Her name fell from my lips, rough and broken, as I rode out the wave.

For a minute, neither of us moved. We just stayed there, tangled in each other, our breathing heavy and uneven.

I finally pulled back just enough to look at her, brushing a strand of hair away from her face.

“You good?” I asked, my voice softer now.

She nodded, a tired smile tugging at her lips.

“Yeah.”

“You sure?”

She laughed under her breath.

“Kyrie, I'm good. I promise.”

I grinned before leaning down and pressing a kiss on her forehead.

“Aight.”

I rolled onto my side, pulling her with me so she was tucked against my chest. Her head rested on my shoulder, and I wrapped my arm around her, holding her close.

For a minute, we just lay there in silence, her fingers tracing lazy patterns against my chest.

“You know…” she said softly, breaking the quiet. “You really are spoiled.”

I let out a low laugh.

“How I'm spoiled?”

“’Cause you always get what you want.”

I looked down at her, a grin tugging at my mouth.

“Damn right.”

She shook her head, but she was smiling.

“You so cocky.”

“I know.”

She laughed, and I tightened my grip on her, pulling her closer.

“But you love me anyway.”

She looked up at me, her eyes soft.

“Yeah,” she said quietly. “I do.”

I kissed the top of her head, my hand sliding down to rest over her stomach again.
