He watched her closely, studying her like he did a stock report or market pundits, but she didn’t care. She liked being the focus of his undivided attention, and she liked what he was doing to her even as he was making her crazy.

“Deeper. Deeper!”

God, she wanted him inside her. She wanted something thick and hard and him to penetrate her. And wow, she’d never thought that before. What was happening to her?

Then he pushed her over the edge with something she’d never felt before: He pinched her clit. Quick and sharp, the sensation threw her over the orgasmic cliff. She cried out as every part of her exploded into brilliance.

Yes!

These were contractions just like she’d felt before, but there was something better. Something more fulfilling. She was flying, unfettered, unjudged, and wholly living for herself. Feeling for herself. And yet she shared this with Gary, and so it felt even more special. It felt transformative. It felt…healing.

So, this was what sex was supposed to be like. It wasn’t just about an explosion of pleasure but about feeling amazing with someone who cared to make it so. Someone she could tell without embarrassment or guilt about what she wanted, who took the time to do exactly that. Which meant she wasn’t dead down there. She’d just never found the right person.

Then he went for more. He tried to keep stroking her when she was too sensitive, and she scrambled away with a disorganized jerk. Flailing for his hand, she finally grabbed it, using what strength she could to drag it away from between her thighs. She was laughing as she did, or gasping. Regardless, she was floating and he was distracting her.

“Too much,” she panted. “You have to stop.”

He did, and for that she was grateful. She relaxed back into the bed, exhaled happily, and smiled at him. She noted that his face was flushed and his tentpole was still there. She’d have to do something about that soon, as she wanted to give him the kind of pleasure he’d just given her.

Except, he had other plans. When she looked back into his eyes, she saw he wasn’t looking at her face. No, his eyes were on her crotch, and he licked his lips in an unconscious gesture. It took her a moment to figure out what he was thinking, and by the time she processed it, he was already maneuvering on the bed. It took some doing with his legs still limp.

“Gary?”

He looked up at her. “There’s more for you, Margaret. You know that, right? That was just a taste of what’s possible.”

“It was pretty great,” she whispered. It had been amazingly great. But he didn’t give her a chance to say that. He grabbed hold of her leg and lifted.

She tensed, but it was too late to keep her thighs closed. By the time she was up on her elbows, he had her legs spread wide on either side of his hips.

“Gary, what are you doing?”

“You promised to let me try.”

“Yeah,” she laughed. “And I did. You passed with flying colors. A cloudburst of them.”

He shook his head. “There’s more. There’s more I want to show you.” He offered a wicked grin. “I want to taste you.”

Okay, so that sounded intriguing. But it was also too much. They weren’t even in their own beds, but in a guest bedroom in a converted ACE Hardware store. She’d gone way past her comfort zone already, and yes, it had worked out beautifully, but she wasn’t ready to push it further. Not right now.

Sitting fully upright, she grabbed Gary’s arms. He didn’t respond except to adjust his hips backwards to get a better angle, so she grabbed his chin and jerked it up.

The first thing she noticed was the feverish sheen to his eyes. Then she realized how hot his skin was. Why hadn’t she noticed before? She’d been deep in orgasmic bliss, obviously, but still!

She scanned his body, seeing the sweat that beaded on his flushed skin. And then—just past his shoulder—she looked through the window and saw the shadows outside. It wasn’t a few hours after they’d gone to sleep. It was late afternoon. As in, almost evening.

“How long did I sleep?” she asked.

He shrugged and ducked his head again.

She drew it back with a forceful tug. “You took the serum, didn’t you? While I was sleeping. Did you talk to anyone beforehand?”

He blinked twice before answering. When he inhaled deeply, she could tell he was struggling to focus.

“You smell like I want to taste.”

He wasn’t making any sense. Though, damn it, she knew what he meant. He was all about oral sex right now.

“You can teach me that too, right?” he continued. “To make it good for you every time.”
