“That’s why I love you. You’re always letting me do me.”
“As you deserve.”
After she whipped up Dexz’s favorite meal, they ate and got dressed for the night. When she stepped out of the room in her satin long-sleeved, emerald shorts romper, his eyes bugged out of his head. She was grown and sexy, showing off a little cleavage, and her ass was fat. Her skin glowed from the body glitter, and her long ponytail gave her features an exotic look.
He swallowed the lump in his throat as he gazed at her while sitting on the couch. “Damn, ma… you grew up to be a baddie. I love it.”
“I wasn’t going to grow up and be anything less. You know my self-esteem isn't low. You ready to go, though?”
“Yeah, grab a jacket. It’s supposed to rain later.”
After she got her jacket, they stepped outside into the cool air and hit the road. Dexz found his location in ten minutes. They stepped out, and he grabbed the duffle bag he had near Pretti’s foot on the passenger side. He let the valet park his car, and they headed to the back door of the club, where he was meeting a guy named Timmy.
Timmy was a rich, middle-aged Italian man who owned two clubs in the Hamptons and did a lot of cocaine. He was born in Queens, but his family made money in stocks, so they moved to the Hamptons when he was young. Still, moving to the richest area in New York didn’t stop him from living a rock-star lifestyle.
Timmy met Lunden and Dexz through some kids off the streets a week earlier, but Lunden didn’t want to do the deal. He wasn’t fond of cocky white dudes, but Dex didn’t give a fuck. Nothing was stopping his cash flow. So after he did his research to make sure the nigga wasn’t a cop or informant, he decided to meet with him while on vacation to see how much he wanted to buy.
When they walked to the door, Dexz asked for Timmy, and the bouncer escorted him through the back of the club. The loud hip-hop music faded as they walked into the plush office where Timmy sat. The office looked like something out of the movie Scarface. He had naked women sitting on his couch, making out while he sat at his desk snorting a line.
Pretti had never seen anyone snort dope before or been on a drug deal, but she didn’t say a word. Lunden didn’t involve her in any of his street business because he felt like she was too green and wouldn’t understand her surroundings. But she wasn’t afraid and minded her business while Dexz worked.
“Dexz! What’s up, my man. I'm glad you came on time. I'm running out of this shit!” Timmy boasted in a high-pitched voice and then snorted his last line.
“I figured you were. That sample was some good shit, pure.” Dexz walked over to the desk and shook Timmy’s hand.
“That definitely was a good sampler you gave me. You and your lady friend have a seat so we can get to business. She’s beautiful, by the way. You got a sister?” Timmy smirked as he eyed her.
Dexz set the duffle bag on the table, and they sat in front of his desk.
“Thanks, man, and no, she don’t have a sister. She’s my love, and I keep her close to me like my Glock. She don’t get acquainted with my clients either, so watch your eyes,” Dexz stated boldly.
“Understood, boss man.” Timmy nodded, respecting his wishes.
“So, do you have the money for this dope? I hope I didn’t come down here for nothing.” He stared at Timmy.
“No way, you didn't come here for nothing.” Timmy looked over at the girls on the couch and snapped his fingers. “Ryna, get the money out of my safe.”
One of the women stood up and walked over to the wall near the office door. There was a painting of a naked woman drinking tequila, which she removed, revealing the wall safe. She pulled out a stack of hundreds, fresh from the bank. Once Dexz saw the money, the exchange went smoothly.
“We're going to do some real business. You got some good work on your hands. I have a few more club owners that would love to get in on this shit. I'll call you in a few days to set up another meeting. I’ma make you some millions.”
“Say less. Long as that cash is right, I got you.”
Everyone stood up.
“Feel free to stay. It's hip-hop night, and drinks are on me.” Timmy smiled.
“That was the plan. Yesterday was our birthday, so we are still celebrating. You do good business, Timmy. I’ll see ya’.”
After they shook hands, Dexz switched out the coke for the money in his duffle bag. Then they were walking down the hall, holding hands.
“Go find us a table and order some drinks. I’m going to go find the car and tuck this cash.”
“Okay.” She walked off and found them a table near the back.
Dexz spotted her sitting at the table already sipping champagne. He slid into the booth next to her real close and gripped her thigh gently while massaging it. When he kissed her neck, his cold lips caused her to giggle.
“I hope you weren't scared in there, but I needed that bread. I wasn't going to turn it down,” he truthfully expressed to her.
