“Going to fuck you now,” we growled. “And you’re going to take my knot.” Her quick nod helped ease some of the tension inside me. “Then I’m going to make you mine. That’s what you need, right, omega?”

“More than anything.”

The way her hands went around my neck, pulling me closer, helped heal something I didn’t know was broken. Even now, I was sure she’d pull away, say not yet, not you. That’s where the wolf and I differed, because he just grinned before leaning down to nip at her lips, right before claiming them as his. As my tongue slid into her mouth, I sheathed myself deep inside Nadia, my moan of bliss muffled by our kiss. Our bodies started up a slow rhythm, because right now, this was a perfect microcosm of our entire relationship. Pulling away slightly, only to thrust deeper, getting closer and closer by the second. When I felt my knot grind up against her entrance, when she started to part around me, my eyes flicked open. There was no way I could do this without staring at Nadia.

“You need me,” I said in my voice, not the wolf’s.

“Yes.”

“You need everything I can give you.”

“Yes. Yes, Grey, please.”

She clung to my neck, eyes starting to shine, which just made mine ache in sympathy.

“If you let me in, I’ll give all that I am to you, because I can’t hold back anymore, Nadia. It hurt too much. Let me in and I’ll—”

She silenced me with a hard kiss, one bleeding into the other until I was forced to break away to let out a terrible groan. It felt like she was squeezing the soul out of my body as my knot started to push inside, the pressure almost painful. Panting madly, we just stared at each other, like two people caught in the midst of a hurricane. The winds might rage around us, but we could always cling to each other.

“Fuck!” I yelped as I felt my knot lodge inside. “If you don’t want—”

“Claim me, Grey. Make me yours.”

The wolf slammed into my barriers, forcing himself forward just in time for our jaws to close around a fold of skin on her neck. His fangs, mine, buried themselves in her and then… he was gone. Not forever, but it was like there was only so much room in my head and right now, that was occupied by my mate.

Nadia? I said.

Right here, she gasped. Goddess, Grey…

My parents had done their level best to break me and in some ways they succeeded. The wolf was never supposed to be a separate part of me, but it formed that way so I survived. In this moment, it felt like every part of me snicked together, forming a whole, because all I could feel was Nadia, my mate, her responses, the pleasure I was forcing her to feel, rushing in to fill all the gaps. My hips moved, snapping harder, faster, as I pushed us on, knowing what needed to happen. I had to fuck her through one orgasm and then another, gritting my teeth to hold out until she couldn’t manage another one. Then and only then would I empty myself inside her, allowing myself to get swept up in the same spiral of bliss.

So that’s what I did.

Afterwards, we collapsed down on the bed, panting madly, only for Tex and Ethan to join us.

“Water,” Tex said, handing out bottles. “Everyone’s gonna need to stay hydrated because going into heat in the summer sucks.”

“And I’m on clean up duty.” Ethan was almost clinical in the way he parted our mate’s legs, but if I felt the aftershocks of pleasure she felt as he cleaned up the mess we’d made, so did he. “That should make you more comfortable until the next wave of heat hits you.”

“You mean there’s more?” Nadia sounded slightly shocked, but I looked down to see her smile into my chest as she nuzzled closer. “Riley didn’t tell me about that.”

“About what, my mate?” I asked.

“When I met you guys, I just wanted to have decent sex with someone for the first time.” Her eyelid cracked slightly so she could squint up at me. “Instead, I found out I have a wolf and once a year I’ll be forced to have more orgasms than I can count over a couple of days with the three men I love.” With a smile, she closed her eyes again. “Best choice ever.”

“You love me?”

My soul was like a desert, thirstily sucking up any rain that might fall upon it.

“You know she does,” Ethan said, tossing the cloth in the dirty clothes basket. “Just reach out and feel the bond.”

I did that day and every one going forward. That bond was like a light I carried in my heart, burning forever to dispel the darkness. Right now, I pressed my lips to her forehead.

“I’ll never love anyone the way I love you.”

She let out a little sigh and I wasn’t sure if she was asleep or not, but that didn’t matter. When she woke up I’d tell her, over and over again, because I’d never make the same mistake her idiot ex did. Nadia would feel loved, cherished, appreciated every day I was alive. With that vow in mind, I settled down beside her and let my own eyes fall closed.
