A cheap and flimsy set of lingerie he’d gotten online that scratched at my skin. Me being moved into positions by him, as if recreating something I was not a part of. He got all worked up, a wild look in his eye that I didn’t recognise, and then he was scrabbling with his jeans’ zipper, pushing himself inside me seconds later. My body fought him, not wet at all, and how could I be? This was a fantasy he had created between himself and his phone screen and I was just the warm, not wholly willing, body he used to re-enact it.

When he finished, he flopped on the bed, flush with pleasure, I stripped the lingerie off me, tossing it aside. My skin felt raw as he pulled me closer but the hug afterwards was nice. We broke up a few weeks later, and from his new girlfriend’s report, she was the next person to wear the same lingerie.

My therapist had sympathised with me, then helped me realise what role I played in a situation I didn’t like. Saying wait, I’m not sure about this or simply no would’ve initiated a conversation about what I was comfortable with. Teenage me didn’t have those words, but I was a grown woman now. Throwing off the robe, standing there naked while the three of them were still fully clothed, felt way too vulnerable, but as I scanned the lot of them, I saw I wasn’t the only one reacting to this scene. Tex smiled as my eyes slid down, taking in the way the thin fabric of his athletic shorts draped over a steadily stiffening cock. I nodded then smiled back, right before sitting on the stool.

“So, what next?” I asked.

Grey removed a black velvet mask from his pocket and held it out for me to look at.

“This will go over your eyes. For some people, being unable to see means your other senses become sharper.”

“So this is something you’ve done before?” I asked.

That idea helped ease a little of the tension thrumming in my body. If I was just another beta they played with until they met their mate, that helped lower the stakes.

“Never.”

His eyes bore into mine as he stepped forward, moving to place the mask over my head, but he paused, waiting for a nod. I’d have to consider, agree to everything that was about to happen, which was exactly what I needed.

So why did the idea have butterflies of fear and desire fluttering around in my stomach?

The soft fabric settled over my eyes, and the subsequent darkness had me remembering my dream. If I opened them again, would I see stars studding the black fabric? Something… shifted inside me. Not butterflies or nerves. I tried to work it out, right before Grey spoke.

“Now, let’s try something low-key.”

My body expected to be touched, so as soon as it landed on my skin, I found myself leaning into the caress, then going still at the unfamiliar sensation. Brows creasing, Grey achieved his goal, because I was entirely focussed on what was happening. Soft, too soft to be their fingertips, it trailed down my collarbone, swishing across my skin and then going lower.

“What…?” My breath was taken away by the silky touch. “What’s that?”

“Just focus on how it feels,” someone said. Ethan, I realised later, as another slippery sensation trailed over my shoulders, then another slid across my calf.

“Feathers,” Grey said in an almost distracted tone. There was a small noise from the others. “I’ll always tell Nadia what’s happening if she asks. Communication, remember?”

But I didn’t need that right now. He was right. Removing my ability to see, anticipate and predict how I would feel made me focus on what was actually happening.

The sensation was almost too light to be a turn on, but it did force me to focus entirely on my skin. Where the feathers would wind next, what they would touch. I gasped as I felt one brush a hardened nipple. There and gone again, my brows creased because it was too quick for me to register.

“Nadia…?”

The question in Grey’s voice was almost unwelcome. I didn’t want to think, didn’t want to have to formulate a response, but as each feather stopped moving, I was forced to.

“Fine,” I replied. “I’m fine.”

A small chuff of amusement from someone and then the feathers returned, now a little different.

Was I just getting the point of them before, because it felt like the sensation was broader, easier to feel now. A shiver in response, because it was almost a ticklish thing. However, I’d never craved someone burrowing their fingers in my ribs as I was starting to do this. Two feathers moved now, tracing smaller and smaller circles until those velvety fibres swept across my nipples at the same time.

A feather was brushing across the sensitive skin of my inner thigh, getting higher and higher. Pressure increased around my nipples, making me more and more aware of them. My mind struggled to follow each of their paths because there were too many feathers. Head rolling back, I stopped trying and did something unexpected.

Let myself just feel.

Time, space, the noises outside, they all dropped away, and for that, I would thank each of them when this was done. Too many times during sex, intrusive thoughts about what needed to be done and what had to be added to the shopping list crowded out any feeling of connection. Not now. It was like my dream, in a way. The wolf had run across the darkened earth, completely in tune with her own body, and I felt the same perched on the stool, right up until the feather was removed from one nipple and replaced by a much more direct form of stimulation. The feather between my legs traced the shape of my pubic mound as thick fingers pinched down to force my nipples to become hard beads.

“Need to know if this hurts, omega.” I blinked behind the mask, feeling like a deep diver that was slowly swimming to the surface. “It should only be a little bit of a pinch, but…”

Something hard and cold. No two, hard cold things slid either side of my nipple and then quickly tightened.

“Oh…!”
