I tilted my head back and started rocking my hips, slow at first, then faster, tracing figure eights against her.
I leaned down and kissed her hard, sliding one hand behind her neck to pull her closer. Her lips parted with a soft moan that slipped straight into my mouth.
“Mmm…”
I kept kissing her as I started moving, rolling my hips faster, pressing deeper against her. Her hands stayed locked on my hips, guiding every grind. She pushed her tongue into my mouth, swirling it against mine, then bit my bottom lip and sucked it.
“Oh… that feels so good,” I breathed against her mouth.
“Vada—” she moaned into the kiss.
My breasts brushed against hers with every motion. Each roll of my hips tugged gently where our clits met, which felt so good.
I leaned back and shifted her knee higher along my stomach, giving myself room to move. My back arched as I found the rhythm again, each motion building into the next until the pace quickened.
“Just like that—uhh,” Zhari shouted, her hips now bucking into mine.
I looked down at her.
And stopped.
Something swirled around her.
At first, I thought my vision had blurred. A faint violet glow curled over Zhari’s shoulders, so subtle I almost mistook it for city light slipping through the window. Then blue threaded through it. Gold flickered softly near her hands.
I stared.
“Vada?” she asked, slowing. “What is it?”
“Oh, my stars.” I lifted a hand to her cheek. “I think I can see your aura.”
Her eyes widened. “My aura?”
“It’s all around you.” I swallowed. “Pink and purple and blue. It’s… swirling everywhere.”
Zhari glanced over her shoulder as if she might catch sight of it herself. When she looked back at me, her expression had gone soft with wonder.
“That’s totally amazing,” she said quietly. “I can’t see my own aura though, I have tried.”
Her gaze moved over me, slow and intent.
“But I can see yours. It’s pink and purple, too. With hints of yellow.” Her smile was small, almost awed. “It’s beautiful.”
“I feel more connected to you than I ever have,” Zhari said softly. “So maybe it makes sense that you can see mine now.”
I looked down at her for a moment, at the colors curling over her skin like starlight. Then I moved her leg and pressed a soft kiss to her inner thigh.
Zhari shivered beneath me.
I brought her leg back against my stomach and settled over her again, my gaze catching on the thin gold threads trembling between us. Violet and blue deepened around her shoulders, bright enough now that I couldn’t mistake them for anything else.
“Vada,” she breathed.
I looked down at her.
Her fingers found mine, winding tightly through them. “I think it might be time.”
My chest went tight—not with uncertainty, but with the weight of it. Forever. Here. With her.
